Guest Just call me Dan Report post Posted February 20, 2002 Do you think Invasion 2.0 has done its job so far? Are you glad Ric Flair has graced the WWF screen again? Are you glad Rock/Hogan is at Mania? Are you marking out? What are your thoughts going in to the biggest PPV of them all? Did the WWF successfully grab your attention lately, or are you still not giving them a chance? I'm marking out like crazy. I can't wait to see all of th nWo in action. I want to see what they can do. The WWF has me hook, line and sinker
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted February 20, 2002 Do you think Invasion 2.0 has done its job so far? - It's not really an invasion since Vince let them in, but I think the WWF handled the nWo's debut better than the WCW invasion. Are you glad Ric Flair has graced the WWF screen again? - Yes. I still want to see him wrestle Angle, Rock, SCSA & HHH. I'm not looking forward to when the nWo beats him up. Since they really never got along. Are you glad Rock/Hogan is at Mania? - Yeah. You're putting two of wrestlings biggest stars in the ring at the top WWF PPV of the year. Are you marking out? - Depends on what is happening. I marked out for the nWo beat down of The Rock. What are your thoughts going in to the biggest PPV of them all? - Nothing. Just watching WWF TV. Did the WWF successfully grab your attention lately, or are you still not giving them a chance? - Do you work for the WWF or something? It's too early to tell how the angle will play out. Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted February 20, 2002 Do you think Invasion 2.0 has done its job so far? - This isn't an Invasion. the nWo are full fledged WWF employees and hopefully we won't get any new Invasions. Are you glad Ric Flair has graced the WWF screen again? - Yes. Arn too! Are you glad Rock/Hogan is at Mania? -I'm looking forward to it. I have been hoping for this match since Hogan got signed and it looks like it is coming. Are you marking out? -Only at Scott Hall. What are your thoughts going in to the biggest PPV of them all? Did the WWF successfully grab your attention lately, or are you still not giving them a chance? -Wrestlemania is going to be huge. I was pretty excited to watch No Way Out on Sunday and since WM is the granddaddy of them all, it is going to rule.
Guest mastermind Report post Posted February 20, 2002 1) Yes, the wwf has done a lot better with this "attack" on the wwf. It has me thinking the wwf deliberately made wcw out to fail after the initial response on RAW. 2)Flair's the don. Why no one says he's hogging the spotlight from the midcarders though and rip on Hogan and company is hypcrisy to the high heavens. 3)Rock/Hogan gives the event the epic match that it would obviously be missing this year. In the last 4 Mania shows only Rock/Austin had that real historic match feel to it. The wwf might have had to repeat that this year if they didn't get the NWO in unless they went with Trips/Austin. 4)I marked out for the Hogan/Rock/NWO segment. Yes, to the other questions. Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 20, 2002 It's not really an InVasion but It's been handled very well for the first three weeks of the angle. Ric Flair is one of the greatest and I think WWFE is playing it smart...Not giving him a large chuck of airtime and saving the Smarkdreams of Austin/Flair and Flair/HHH. Rock/Hogan will no doubt be one of the biggest Matches in Wrestling History, if you're one of those delousional fools who think wrestling is about ONE certain wrestler, then you're missing out on the biggest match in WM history since, Well...dare I say Andre-Hulk? This will bring big name stars into this, I'd expect a nice sized Media Hype over this match...OnlyTwo Trump cards remain for WWF...Hogan/Austin and Austin/Flair...but none gets bigger then this one. Am I marking out? For the nWo? Yes. WWF already had my 34 bucks anyways, Now they added more Intriuge with the Main event of the Century (What other WWF PPV matched with this one this century?), I expect a HOT Main event with Hogan/Rock, A great **** match with Jericho/HHH and give me RVD winning the I.C title...I'm a happy peach. Guest Just call me Dan Report post Posted February 20, 2002 Good. No, I don't work for the WWF I just kind of put this because a lot of people's initial reactions were that this actually is good. Now, some seem to be jumping right back onto the WWF sucks no matter what bandwagon. This was just to boost my morale to know that some people are actually enjoying WWF as much as I am. They aren't perfect, but I've been entertained mostly for the 6 or so years I've been watching.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted February 20, 2002 Well as it stands now, no i'm not looking forward to Wrestlemania. It could change in the coming weeks and actually get me interested. But for now i have little to no interest in Wrestlemania. Sure Hogan/Rock is going to receive alot of hype and make money off people coming to see NAMES. But the match will be terrible and i could care less about "name power" i don't care to see Hogan or Rock.
Guest Kinetic Report post Posted February 20, 2002 I'm looking forward to it, personally. At this point, I'm more excited about it than any PPV in quite a while. But the WWF still has three weeks to either build upon that or completely screw it up. We shall see.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Report post Posted February 20, 2002 Personally, I'm not looking forward to it too much. Media hype is good and all for Rock/Hogan, but I don't liek either guy, so it's just another feud to me. I really just want to see Jericho/HHH and maybe Hall/Austin to see if Steve can work miracles, but that's about it. If that seems smarkish or whatever, then too bad. That's EXACTLY how I feel about it at this point.
Guest Just call me Dan Report post Posted February 21, 2002 This card has so much on the line when you think about it.... If Austin and Hall makes it to the PPV and actually have a nice match, I think most of us will renew our faith in Scott and not fear his longevity so much Ifthe match sucks, Hall could be out real quick If Nash is thrown in a match with someone much like him in the ring (Show) He will fall into an even bigger hole than he is now as far as bashing. If Hogan and Rock make something happen, Hogan's support will go up some, but If the match is a Warrior/Hogan 2, Big show/Kane pace match, Hogan will fall right into that hole with Nash. Basically I'm very interested because of the way this has been booked so far, and also because of the fact that those 3 guys may have hell if they stink up Wrestlemania. The tension builds..... Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted February 21, 2002 Do you think Invasion 2.0 has done its job so far? I think that the WWF has handled the return of the NWO better than anyone could have expected. I hoe they can keep up the pace...and not lose all fan interest after the 3 guys get in the ring. Are you glad Ric Flair has graced the WWF screen again? As a co-owner...yes. As an active wrestler...that's a tough one. I do love seeing his music hit and have him walk the aisle...ala Royal Rumble...but a 53 year old man is not going to help new talent stake a claim as the stars of tomorrow...unless he puts them over. Instead he is a novelty act that fights Vince and Taker. Are you glad Rock/Hogan is at Mania? It certainly creates a buzz around the event and hopefully it will bring in some new viewers. As for the match...not really Are you marking out? I reserve all future markouts for the next time I see the WWF make a sound long term decision...or Norman Smiley and his big wiggle. What are your thoughts going in to the biggest PPV of them all? Did the WWF successfully grab your attention lately, or are you still not giving them a chance? I'm no more hooked than I was a month ago...but it's not really a fair question as I'll watch through the good the bad and the ugly.
Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted February 21, 2002 Do you think Invasion 2.0 has done its job so far? The NWO has definitely gained interest in two days but they haven't actually wrestled in the ring yet. Are you glad Ric Flair has graced the WWF screen again? I enjoy Ric Flair's role because I don't think he should wrestle anymore. I'm not looking forward to Flair-Taker at all. Now Flair-Angle would be a match for the ages. WWF missed the boat on this one. Are you glad Rock/Hogan is at Mania? It can be classified as a "dream match". Will the match be classic? I don't think so. After Hogan gets back in the ring, the fans will turn against him again. Are you marking out?No, I've seen this before. Angle-Flair would make me mark out. What are your thoughts going in to the biggest PPV of them all? Did the WWF successfully grab your attention lately, or are you still not giving them a chance? They've grabbed my attention because this could have easily been the best Mania ever but it's being booked to be the worst. So far, I don't see any match save for Jericho-Trips even getting close to ***1/2 Hogan-Rock? umm.no Taker-Flair? I hope UT resembles a broomstick Hall-Austin? Can Hall still bring it? BillyChuck-APA? Pathetic! NO, I'm not looking forward to Mania at all.
Guest Big McLargeHuge Report post Posted February 21, 2002 <Do you think Invasion 2.0 has done its job so far?> It's only been 2 days, but I'll say they've made their impact...Yes. <Are you glad Ric Flair has graced the WWF screen again?>Absolutely. <Are you glad Rock/Hogan is at Mania?> Kind of. I'd rather see Austin/Hogan, but this will suffice. <Are you marking out?>Yup. <What are your thoughts going in to the biggest PPV of them all? Did the WWF successfully grab your attention lately, or are you still not giving them a chance?> 4 weeks till Mania? They'd better get moving on the HHH/Jericho fued. That's all that matters to me. NWO was boring to say the least, but it delivered where it was supposed to: The nWo.
Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted February 21, 2002 Again, it's not really an invasion but I think the nWo has been a big success so far and has really gotten over with the fans. I have definitely "marked out" a lot between NWO and RAW, giving a fresh feeling to everything and even though Rock vs. Hogan is one of the biggest matches of all time, Im still not looking forward to seeing it, simply because I know the match will suck. So will Flair/Taker, Hall/Austin and just about anything else theyre planning (with the possible exception of Jericho vs. HHH which would have been more promising a year ago). Its just not an exciting card, and nothing Id want to blow 40 bucks on. Its very cool to see Flair back in the WWF but I wish they'd do something else with him, his role sucks right now. It all feels like WCW 98-99 with all the old main eventers clogging the card leaving dozens of lost and talented midcarders with nothing. The nWo is exciting and getting over, but in terms of creating a good wrestlemania, its just not there.
Guest X-Factor Corperation Report post Posted February 21, 2002 Yep. Come to think of it this year has been somewhat legendary. The demonic wCw spirit snuck in destroying pushes and toppiling the WWF four ratings points. In it's demise it sucked in ECW. Now with it gone and it looking like good for WWF the darkest demon of them all returns. And what's more we have a good main event. So far the WWF has booked three matches. The opening Triple(whomever) vs The Undisputed Unified Living Legend Chris Jericho(is he's still the champ) The tag team title match, Tazz and Spike Dudley vs The A.P.A. And the main event of The Rock vs Hollywood Hogan. That main event makes sence. After a year of turmoil we see the dream match we've been waiting for. The star of the past vs the star of the furure. WWF vs the real wCw. I've always thought they shoulda saved the big one for Wrestlemania.
Guest wrestlemaniac16 Report post Posted February 21, 2002 Yes to all yournquestions, I'm marking out big time for the NWO, and I'll never ever do that again. The Wrestlemania is shaping up to be really good this year.
Guest AM The Kid Report post Posted February 21, 2002 "Do you think Invasion 2.0 has done its job so far?" So far they have created havok, think about how the Rock/Ambulance angle would look if you didn't anilase(sp?) everything and were still a mark. "Are you glad Ric Flair has graced the WWF screen again?" Yep, as long as he stays out of the ring for the time being. "Are you glad Rock/Hogan is at Mania?" Absolutly, this match has hooked me back to wrestling. It's a dream match for me, *saying it outloud* Hulk Hogan is going to be at Wrestlemania! *shuting up* "Are you marking out?" Yep, RAW was pretty much a markout evening. "What are your thoughts going in to the biggest PPV of them all? Did the WWF successfully grab your attention lately, or are you still not giving them a chance?" It won't be the biggest but it'll be cool. I'm going to order it and I'm always WWF 4 Life.
