Guest Karnage Report post Posted July 26, 2002 Has anyone ever dined at any wrestling related restaurant such as the WCW Nitro Grill in Las Vegas or WWF New York/The World in NYC? What's it like?
Guest jimmy no nose Report post Posted July 26, 2002 The food is decent at The World, it's really worth going if there's an appearance or something.
Guest MrRant Report post Posted July 26, 2002 I went to the old Nitro Grill a few times and they actually had some really... really good food.

Guest Invader3k Report post Posted July 26, 2002 I've never been to the World (seeing as how I live in Wisconsin). But I read a really, really bad review of it somewhere online a few months ago, so I don't know if I'd risk going there if I was ever in NYC.

The World is good if you want a shirt or something, cause they have everything, but there is a chili's a couple blocks down thats emptier, cheaper, and better food what about Pastamania
Guest jimmy no nose Report post Posted July 26, 2002 If you're just visiting New York for a short time you might not want to go to The World. The ESPN Zone is right across the street and I think it's a better place overall. If you're on a longer stay it's worth a try.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted July 27, 2002 According to my parents, whom took a trip to NYC a few weeks ago, went to WWF NY (It had yet to have the name change) and They said it wasn't much different then other Chainrauts. However, I did get a RVD shirt...
Guest Razor Roman Report post Posted August 5, 2002 The World's food is surprisingly good for a "Theme resturaunt" It's basically your standard TGI Friday's fare. And not much more expensive than a TGIF's in New York.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted August 5, 2002 The World isn't that bad- plus they have autograph sessions anytime the WWE is in the area. ESPN Zone kicks major ass.

Guest Mattdotcom Report post Posted August 7, 2002 I've got a story about WWF New York and ESPNZone! Two years ago, my school took a trip (on a bus, of course) from Alabama to Washington to Philly to New York. Oh, yes, it was hell. The bus smelled like fish, the floor was sticky, you didn't get in until midnight, but going to New York was all worth it. In fact, we're the first and last class to go to New York, which we all agreed should have been our only stopping point. Especially with the inane trip to Philadelphia where we ate a cheesesteak and our bus driver got lost on our way to the Liberty Bell (which we never saw). Anyways, when we were touring Time's Square, we stop at the ESPN Zone. Now, when you've got three days to tour new York City, and only a few precious hours to see stuff you want to see, you don't want to spend an hour in a fucking arcade and not be able to order anything. Then we went to WWF NY and watched two of our friend play air hockey before we were ushered out for some reason.
