The GM angle.

This is the first WWE feud I have liked in a long time. The guessing who will be on what show thing is really cool. Steph isn't annoying anymore either. I'm still rooting for Bishoff though.

Perfect role for Bischoff too. He has been great as the heel GM. So far so good.

I havent been this excited about the WWE product since the beginning of the invasion. If they keep this up then I won't be complaining

I like Flair as the GM better

Bischoff looks like an actor from those teen movies that seem to flood the multiplex theaters every year.

Well at least with the GM angle wrestlers have a reason for going to the other show.

If you need any reason as to why Stephanie is allowing Stacy to be her 'assistant' look no further than my sig.

Period.

Did Anglesault just say something positive about Stephane?!?!

I am shocked. But if you bring the goods, I guess you can sway even the toughest critic.

I also complemented the cruisers and they basically won me over tonight. (Tonight was one of my infamous "One last chance" matches that they always seem to blow, until tonight.)

I really like this angle. It's not that boring, and it's intresting to see whose gunna sign with who.

I like the angle, even if they are trying to relive the glory days of the monday night wars... on monday and thursdays....

I still can't stand Steph, her acting is the equivalent of Carrie Anne Moss in the Matrix... God damn you Cypher... Bischoff plays it over-the-top, which I don't mind cause, unlike Steph, Bisch is good at it.

Bischoff is more like Keanu Reeves from the Matrix....believes he is the one who can save the world

Nah, Bischoff is more like the horny kid that gets shot to pieces.

Bischoff: You, you, you liked the NWO???

Vince: uh, yeah, I guess.

Bischoff: I created it myself ya know? You remember the wrestler named TASTY WHEAT? ...I mean Glacier...

From Scott Keith's Smackdown rant:

"My main thing with this new direction is that there’s no real incentive for the fans to care one way or the other who is on what show – Stephanie talks about “Smackdown fans”, but why would the WWE possibly want to divide their own fanbase into two camps? For the purposes of the angle they want to provide the illusion of competition, but for the purposes of maintaining fans, they can’t actually go all the way with it. That’s the main problem with the angle. As someone who watches both shows, whether I watch, say, Jericho on Smackdown or RAW doesn’t make a bit of difference to me."

What's everyone think about this?

"Competition brings out the best of everyone in the Wwf...."

Yeah, it's lame... But it's the reason...

(I guess I should elaborate)

One of the things with the Monday Night Wars is that fans would tune into both shows wondering what would happen, and that each promotion would do things to capture their attention. The Wwf figures that fans won't side with one show or the other, but rather watch both wondering 'what happens next'. Just them trying to 'recapture' shit that happened a long time ago.
