Guest Army Eye Report post Posted February 21, 2002 First off I find it amazing that some people could give a pre-injury and post-injury rating to Triple H, and not do the same for Scott Steiner. Short memories I guess And I don't see how 4-5 post-injury matches can be averaged evenly with the years of matches Triple H had before that.. but anyway, assuming we're strictly talking about match performances: Steve Austin - **** 1/2 Hulk Hogan - ** Diamond Dallas Page - ** 3/4 The Rock - *** Triple H - *** 1/2 Kane - ** Kevin Nash - * The Undertaker - ** 1/4 Scott Hall - ** 3/4 Mick Foley - *** 1/4 Ric Flair - **** 3/4 Sting - **** Kurt Angle - **** Goldberg - * 1/2 Chris Jericho - *** 1/2 Chris Benoit - **** 3/4 Rob Van Dam - ** 3/4 Bret Hart - **** 1/2 Randy Savage - *** 3/4 Shawn Michaels - ***** Scott Steiner - *** 3/4 Booker T - *** The Big Show - * 1/4 Lance Storm - *** 1/4 Tazz - * 3/

Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted February 21, 2002 Steve Austin ***** Stunning Steve will always be my favorite Hulk Hogan DUD I agree Fuck him. I've never been entertained by him Diamond Dallas Page ** Hard work saves him The Rock ** The 2 stars are for the heel Rock...fuck the face Rock... Triple H **** Aside from Flair, probably the best heel ever. Now if only he'd remember that Kane *1/2 Pretty good for a big man, but he's no Mike Awesome Kevin Nash Dud Never entertained me either The Undertaker * Isn't as good as Kane in the ring...so he gets a lower rating. Being around for a long time doesn't make you good Scott Hall ** Razor Ramon ruled....Scott Hall sucks Mick Foley ***** His books gave me a new appreciation for him Ric Flair ***** The best. Ever. Except for Steamboat... Sting ** Never bought in to him. His feuds with Flair were gold though Kurt Angle **** Most entertaining guy I've seen in a long while Goldberg * Eh...he was just there. Chris Jericho **** Heel Jericho rules. Always entertaining...as a heel Chris Benoit ****1/2 Can have a good match with anyone. That's what I like. Rob Van Dam **** There are two things I like. Good Wrestling...and RVD. They don't go together...but I like them both equally. Watching him win his tv title from the front row made me a mark for this guy. Bret Hart **** It's a shame with how good he was...what he'll be remembered for. Randy Savage *** The 3 stars are for old school (pre world title) MAcho man. A character that he would ruin over the course of the next 13 years Shawn Michaels ****1/4 Always entertaining Scott Steiner ** Reinvented himself nicely. Booker T ***1/4 I'm a Booker mark...maybe because his first title was as a result of the Hogan shoot. But a Booker mark none the less The Big Show * To his credit...he seems to try. Lance Storm **** Big fan...When I saw his weak ass chair shots at Barely Legal...I was hooked. Great wrestler. Tazz **1/2 OVerrated? Definitely. But I'm an ECW mark...so FTW it is. Guest TheHulkster Report post Posted February 21, 2002 Being a great worker is one thing, but if you are talking about being a great performer, thats a whole different beast. Steve Austin- *****- He's put on some of the best performances ever during his wwf run. Hulk Hogan- ****- The man makes every match he's in an event. Not the best worker, but he has a firm grasp of crowd psychology. Diamond Dallas Page-***- He works hard and he's over in spite of the bookers burying the shit out of him. The Rock-****- He always turns it up several notches when necessary. You can't deny the man is an amazing talker, and like hogan, has a firm grasp of crowd psychology. Triple H- ***- He's had some great matches, but i've never really been excited for a triple h match, and he has no dramatic range. Kane- ***- He's the best big man in the wwf as far as ringwork goes, never been really pumped for a kane match though. Kevin Nash- *- Not really great at anything, got by on size and luck. The Undertaker-**- The taker can sell a program with anyone. Not many other redeeming qualities though. Scott Hall- **- Scott is a decent worker, but he never really had any great, memorable matches besides the ladder matches, and he was never really productive on the mic. Mick Foley- ****- Not really a great worker, but he took some great bumps and could really build emotion throughout a match and on the mic. Ric Flair- *****- Flair was the man in his prime. He was great at pretty much everything. Sting-****- Sting was a great performer, he always turned it up a few notches when need be and his intensity level was off the charts. Kurt Angle- ***- Angle has had some great matches, but he doesnt have a whole lot of dramatic range. All his promos are pretty goofy and full of cheap heat tactics. Great worker though. Goldberg-***- Probably the most intense performer in the past 5 years. Not much of a worker, but his intensity got him over by sheer force of will. Chris Jericho- ***- He suffers from the same problems that angle does, and his offense is pretty weak looking, but he can bust out a memorable performance when needed. Chris Benoit-****- Benoit is Really intense and is always on. The fact that he can't promote himself and the programs he is in as well as some people knocks him down slightly, but he does have an aura about him. Rob Van Dam-****- Van Dam kicks it up a notch when needed, always raising the bar. You know it's going to be a pretty spectacular match when rvd is involved. Bret Hart-*****- Like flair, in his prime, he was the fucking man. Randy Savage-****- Savage cut some great promos during his career, and you could always expect to walk out with your money's worth when savage was on the card. Shawn Michaels- *****- See bret and Flair Scott Steiner- ***- not one of the greatest of all time, but he could bust out a great performance on occasion Booker T- ***- Ever since going to the wwf, his performances have been pretty lackluster. I dont know whether its his fault or the road agents were riding his ass, but he rocked the house in wcw, even when he was the first match on the card. The Big Show- *- see nash Lance Storm- **- great worker, but he doesn't have an ounce of charisma, and is not the guy that can carry a program. Tazz- **- once he got to wwf he became exposed as the no talent slug he is.

Guest Nick the Pick Report post Posted February 21, 2002 First off, I can't believe people are giving Austin five stars as an AVERAGE of his matches. Austin's very talented, certainly one of the best now, and probably one of the all-time best, but the maximum rating you can award is FIVE STARS, PEOPLE! That means that probably 90% of Austin's matches have been absolutely perfect, in your view. Ric Flair is widely regarded as the best performer of the last 30 years but even he has had his fair share of stinkers. Ah well, whatever. Here goes: Steve Austin ***1/2 Hulk Hogan ** Diamond Dallas Page *** The Rock ***1/4 Triple H **3/4 Kane ** Kevin Nash * The Undertaker **1/4 Scott Hall *** Mick Foley ***1/2 Ric Flair ***3/4 Sting **1/2 Kurt Angle ***1/2 Goldberg *1/2 Chris Jericho *** Chris Benoit **** Rob Van Dam **1/4 Bret Hart **** Randy Savage **3/4 Shawn Michaels ***3/4 Scott Steiner ***1/2 Booker T **1/4 The Big Show *1/4 Lance Storm *** Tazz **
