Why did they make Dr Evil and Austin brothers?

Why weren't they any trippy interludes?

Tom Cruise as a guest cameo playing Austin in the movie inside a movie? What the hell was up with that opening scene? Kevin spacey as Dr Evil? DANNY DVITO as Mini Me?

Why did they make Dr Evil good? And is AP4 gonna be AP vs. Scotty Evil?

Wasn't that funny. You must be some sort of mike myers mark or something. the only part that was really funny is when austin powers and his new ally mini me were behind the curtain and the dude was on the other side watching their shadows, and AP had mini me taped to his body to hide him and the evil physician caught them and mini me slid down AP's body... so when the dude watching saw it, it looked like he gave birth to a baby!!! LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And the Jay z parody was kinda phat too

Is Beyonce good In this movie? Becuse when she had that leading role In that MTV crappy remake of "Carmen", I thought she sucked ass and killed the whole movie. And from the previews of this movie, it looks like she can't act.

 

 

And there's not going to be a AP4......... I think.

I thought it sucked. I liked the other 2 though. I really don't like how they just repeat jokes from previous movies and word them different.

 

BTW, Goldmember is a weak, lame character. He's just a waste of space.

I just got back from seeing it

 

It was funny and all but was no where near as good as 2

 

Goldmember was very unfunny and might have made be laugh twice...Beyonce was not very good...hardly any Fat Bastard...hardly any Scott Evil...and just a crappy ending.

 

The Danny Devito thing almost made me piss myself though.

I dont know- I just found Goldmember to be hilarious and had me laughing the whole time.

 

Almost everyone hated Fat Bastard so thats why he was limited in AP3.

 

Don't know why Scott didnt do a lot.

 

The ending sets up AP4 with Evil/Austin v. Scott.

 

And- Beyone had nice breasts

Yeah, I'd agree with that. Austin Powers I was not only funny, but it was good. APII tried to be a spotfest, and while it had funny moments it was not a funny movie.

 

When I first say API didn't really like it, but each time I saw I grew to like it more and more and more. APII doesn't have that same replay value.

I saw it tonight thinking it would be not great with only a few good spots. But it was probably one of the funniest movies of the summer. Beyoncee wasn't that great, but then again, I'm a Heather Graham mark. I would say that it is well worth the $8 bucks or whatnot to see. I felt the opening with the parachuting was a little hoaky at first, before they showed Cruise. And Kevin Spacey/Danny Devito made me nearly soil myself in all sorts of ways.

The Spacey/DeVito stuff was just too fucking funny. I died seeing that. The Austin-Mini Me battle was absolutely awesome.

 

Jingus- I like AP2 too as well but it's the weakest of the thre.
