AP 2 wasn't funny. Dr. Evil singing to Mini Me, Austin drinking shit and Fat Bastard getting a lot of screen time = not funny.

The first was the best, third was the worst.

 

But Goldmember did have some funny things in it, like Fat Bastard on the Subway diet. When he said "My neck looks like a vagina!", I cracked up until the end of the movie.

 

Also, did anyone catch the easter egg in the news report when Dr. Evil was captured. The words scrolling along the bottom said things like "Maple Leafs win Stanley Cup" and "Toronto declared best city in the world" that made most of the theatre I was in mark out.

I saw the movie last night. I agree that it was better than AP1, but worse than AP2. I personally think that Fat Bastard was great in AP2 and wished he had a little more screen time in AP3. AP3 had a bunch of REALLY funny parts, but the story itself was the lacking. As far as I'm concerned, when you watch an Austin Powers movie the story doesn't have to make any sense. Hell, I waited until the movie was over to comprehend the whole story. I mark for Seth Green, so maybe AP4 still has some potential.

I liked Fat Bastard too but it seemed everyone in the free world hated him so Myers couldn't give him a big role

i just saw goldmember, and thought overall it was crap, and i think AP2 is still the best one.

The only bits of goldmember i liked were the austin/mini me fight and the cameos. Which are really just cheap ways to get a laugh anyways. It was just tired.

I saw AP3 twice, at the 1st time I thought it was decent. But the 2nd time I loved it!
