Guest Grenouille Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 For the first time in 7 years a WWF game is coming to PC. Obviously the best course of action would be to make a new game altogether, but THQ has decided to basically port RAW from X-Box. If you had your choice of the games currently on the market which would you like them to port? My choice would have to be SmackDown! based on the CAW and easy controls.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 I don't like those options. Man...WWE games blow. What was the game the had on PC 7 years ago?

Guest Sandman9000 Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 Where is None Of The Above or No Mercy? No Mercy on PC, no slowdown, tag entrances, more then one ladder. Don't tell me this game wouldn't take over the world.

Guest Sandman9000 Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 Yeah, I see what you mean. It's just that all of their recent stuff sucks.
Guest The Metal Maniac Posted July 28, 2002 Report Posted July 28, 2002 I've been waiting for a WWF PC game for a while now, simply because of the cool shit they can do with it. I mean, think about it...they release the game, and a few months later, there's a few new wrestlers, using new moves in the WWF. BAM! Expansion Pack. Plus it'd be neat to be able to send people your CAWS, or do matches online and such.

Guest The Metal Maniac Posted July 28, 2002 Report Posted July 28, 2002 Fuck pretty soon, I want it NOW~! Besides, you think I got the cash to spend on a console? I didn't even buy this computer....
Guest BoboBrazil Posted July 28, 2002 Report Posted July 28, 2002 There was a WWF wrestling game released last year. It was a card game where you put up your set of move cards up against someone else's online. It was pretty fun, but they charged you for every other character you bought. I haven't played it since it first came out, so I don't know if they still do or not. I forgot the name of the game.
Guest -Cutthroat- Posted July 28, 2002 Report Posted July 28, 2002 WrestleMania x8 is fitting for the PC...
Guest mesepher Posted July 29, 2002 Report Posted July 29, 2002 Yeah, I see what you mean. It's just that all of their recent stuff sucks. that sums up the WWE(F) in the past fews years
Guest NazMistry Posted July 29, 2002 Report Posted July 29, 2002 A decent wrestling game for the PC would mean the start of an awesome Online E-Fed with CAWS. Think about it, you could actually have a real E-Fed, and switch from E-Fed to E-Fed ala WCW/WWF. It would rule.
Guest The Electrifyer Posted July 29, 2002 Report Posted July 29, 2002 That e-fed idea is awesome, but they better make the CAW feature good then. Also, when is this game coming out?
Guest Grenouille Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 Also, when is this game coming out? According to IGN, it's still TBA.
Guest starvenger Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 Well, out of those 3, I'd say Raw, since there wouldn't need to be too much tweaking to make it PC-ready. Plus I already have Smackdown for the PS2 and have no intention of getting an X-Box unless I can get games for cheap. Ideally, of course, the Virtual Pro engine would be used for an updated No Mercy but I suppose that THQ would have to pay AKI royalties for that, and we can't have that happening, can we?

Guest Flyboy Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 I'd say come out with a PC with PC graphics and such... a new franchise of sorts. PC gamers (like I) would eat that up. CAW, intros could all be very sweet if done right.
