1. Probably not.

2. Mike Judge wanted to concentrate on "King of the Hill" and the show had basically run its course.

3. Yes. That's Mike Judge.

4. I don't believe so. There are a bunch of VHS things, though.

Yep, sad isn't it. What a huge step down.

On the other hand, he also did the great movie 'Office Space'

Actually, there are a few DVD's from the TV series, although I haven't heard good things about them. I can't exactly recall what, but I believe there is something that keeps the DVD's from being worth buying. At any rate, you can find some of them on Ebay, although most of the ones I saw, ended quickly with someone using the Buy It Now feature.

I would love to get them on DVD, but I'm not budging until I see some season box sets. That's how all TV shows should be released, I don't care what the situation.

Perhaps the show had run it's course, but I think that the final season was the series at it's best. The animation had come so far from the almost unwatchable original episodes, the music videos had been cut down to being shown in between shorts, instead of being shown after about a minute of the short (which I always found very annoying, since B&B weren't always THAT funny commenting on the videos, even though they had their moments), and the episodes were funnier than early seasons.

Perhaps it was wise to end the show while they were ahead, but I saw some life left in the series. That's just me, though. Considering he wanted to do another show (or put his efforts in to just one), I think they made a wise move pulling the plug, since in many cases when a producer or creator puts efforts in to more than one project at a time, all of them suffer.

I don't really think it was a step down. B&B and King of the Hill are two very different shows, and I think both have their respective qualities. I'm not gung-ho on watching King of the Hill, but it's a fun show to sit down and watch every once in a while, if not on a regular basis. The only drab part of the show is Peggy, as I just find her annoying, although she isn't really supposed to be ammusing most of the time, so I guess she does her job.

The only Beavis & Butthead DVDs out are Do Christmas, The Final Judgement and the movie.

There is going to be a DVD called The History of Beavis & Butthead, a 2 disc compilation of their best episodes so that slims down the chances of a Season box set ever coming out.

any ideas on a release date? I was so hoping for a DVD set of the entire show.

Has anyone seen the final episode? B and B are dead? If so, what did you think of it?

The final episode...happened when I was in 5th grade, so you bet your fucking ass I watched it.

In the weeks leading up to the episode, everybody was wondering who were going to kill Beavis & Butthead...and then the episode happened, and I laughed my ass off.

Yeah, Beavis and Butthead forget about school and the school secratary calls their house to see where they are. Butthead responds with "Uhhhh...Beavis and Butthead are dead", and hangs up. Word gets around school that they died, and at the end of the day the principal's outside with the kids, rejoyced. Then, strolling down the street come Beavis and Butthead to find out what the hell everyone was doing standing outside. The principal turns around, sees them, shakes his head in disbelief, has a heart attack and dies. Beavis and Butthead walk out into the sunset as the show ends.
