Guest Mindless_Aggression Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 Whats the best bad song you've ever heard? I mean it was so SO fucking awful, but you just couldn't turn it off because like a car wreck, you were just drawn to sit and listen with pure horror. For me, it will always be songs by Korn in general. I actually have all of their CDs and I freely admit every one of them sucks (with the possible exception of the debut). I've never enjoyed them in the traditional sense ever, but still, 3 or 4 times a year, I bust them out and listen to all of them. It is just so ...AWFUL that it's awesome. How could you turn away from A.D.I.D.A.S.? Or the horribly cheesy and over done My Gift To You? Or even the mindless catchyness that is Thoughtless? Awful yet lovable hateable shit. I just can't hate them. Well I can when people tend to lump The Deftones and them together, The Deftones are such a step above what most everyone is doing. But yes, anyways, what do you think? What hurts you so badly that you just can't turn it off?
Guest Kinetic Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 Most of the really mainstream new wave stuff from the early 80s is like that for me. I don't really enjoy it but...I'm sort of drawn to it by powers that are beyond my control.
Guest Alice_In_Chains_Chick Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 Blondie (any song by her...old 80's stuff, not newer stuff)
Guest saturnmark4life Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 most pop punk. I don't LIKE wanting to go out and beat up skatepunk children, but i..can't...turn..AWAY! other than that, 'crazy rap' by afroman is so goddamn retarded i almost like it.

Guest Snappy Nappy Dugout Posted July 28, 2002 Report Posted July 28, 2002 Hulk Hogan's "Hulkster's Back" and "Beach Potral". "Whoop There It Is Check It Out Check It In You Be Six Feet Deep If You Touch My Girlfriend". Damn, you know that rules. Chub Rock- Treat Em' Riiiiiiiiiight". I Mark for the Chubster. And I can't belive nobody remember this song........ TACO'S PUTTIN' ON A RITZ! Man, back In the 80's, that song use to rule. It's still one of my faveorite song's. C'mon, Look at the lyrics! "If you're blue and you don't know where to go to why don't you go where fashion sits, Puttin' on the ritz. Different types who wear a day coat, pants with stripes and cutaway coat, perfect fits, Puttin' on the ritz. Dressed up like a million dollar trouper Trying hard to look like Gary Cooper (super duper) Come let's mix where Rockefellers walk with sticks or "umberellas" in their mitts, Puttin' on the ritz. Have you seen the well-to-do up and down Park Avenue On that famous thoroughfare with their noses in the air High hats and Arrow collars white spats and lots of dollars Spending every dime for a wonderful time If you're blue and you don't know where to go to why don't you go where fashion sits, Puttin' on the ritz. Puttin' on the ritz. Puttin' on the ritz."
Guest spiny norman Posted July 28, 2002 Report Posted July 28, 2002 Amen to Madonna. I'm listening to 'Like A Prayer' right now, and I am singing along and rather enjoying it, in a sick, perverse type way. Culture Club! I can't be the only person who loves Karma Chameleon! Or 'Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?' Both classics, in their own rights. Yeah, 80s pop in general is pretty good harmless bad stuff. Oh yes, Little River Band! They are shockingly great!
Guest saturnmark4life Posted July 28, 2002 Report Posted July 28, 2002 How could i forget creed! you need the videos to fully appreciate how comical they are, but my god how anyone swallows this bullshit is hilarious!
