Guest JaKyL25 Report post Posted July 27, 2002 *1* Bruno vs *16* Slaughter Bruno. 11 years combined as champ, vs. 3 months? *8* HHH vs *9* Savage Kinda tough, but I'll say Savage. *4* Bret vs *13* Flair Bret, although it will be a different story in the WCW tourny. *5* Austin vs *12* Foley Austin just meant SO much more. *3* Backlund vs *14* Jericho Gotta respect Backlund's longevity. *6* Pedro vs *11* Undertaker Undertaker, for getting the belt in 4 different eras of his character. *2* Hogan vs *15* Sid Hogan. That's all that needs to be said here. *7* Rock vs *10* HBK A tough match to pick, but as far as champs go, Rock was better. HBK had the best reign of the two with his first one, but Rock's 5th reign wasn't that bad, and Rock's 6 other approximately one month or less reigns (at least thus far on #7) are better than HBK's 2 other pitiful reigns. Slaughter was a good champ, but the longevity just wasn't there (2 months). *8* HHH vs *9* Savage WINNER: Savage. HHH was a great champ in 2000, but he is up against one of the elite champs. Bad luck for him. *4* Bret vs *13* Flair WINNER: Bret. He carried the WWF in the mid 90s. *5* Austin vs *12* Foley WINNER: Austin. I don't know how Foley got passed Angle, actually. *3* Backlund vs *14* Jericho WINNER: Backlund. Jericho did not have a good run. *6* Pedro vs *11* Undertaker WINNER: Undertaker. I never cared much for Morales. Taker had two good runs. His last, and his one in 1997. *2* Hogan vs *15* Sid WINNER: Hogan. Duh. *7* Rock vs *10* HBK WINNER: Rock. HBK had a great first reign that drew flies, but his other two were horrid. HHH's 2000 run(s) were better than Savages 2 runs...the first one was filled with Tag MAtches with Hogan...and house shows with DiBiase...little else. His second run was pretty much the same...only sub Warrior at Summerslam in and take out the rest. Savages title reigns were a little forgettable IMO.
