This includes movies, TV shows, merch, etc. My pick would be Star Trek. 5 series, 10 movies, books up the yin yang, comics, all kinds of merchandise from collectible plates and pins to action figures and mugs. As it stands, Bond is popular, but not nearly as popular as Star Wars. 4 of the 5 Star Wars movies were the highest grossing movie the year they were released, and the other would have if not for the Spiderman phenomenon. 3 of the films (TPM, ANH & ROTJ) are in the top ten highest grossing films of all time. Both the highest grossing sequel and highest grossing prequel of all-time are Star Wars films. The orginally trilogy made more money than all the Bond films combined. It isn't even close. And regarding James Bond, I'm a big fan as well and I looked it up, and while all of Pierce Bronsnan's films have done big business (over 100 mil) I think the Sean Connery films were more popular.
