Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted February 21, 2002 Report Posted February 21, 2002 Man this is odd. After the whole nWo stuff in WCW Nash was a main eventer. He was everywhere and he seemed to be one of the main men in the company. He was his own boss and answered to nobody. But now that they are back in WWF with Hogan Nash is a lackey again. It's just weird to see him not the main focus in this angle. Does anyone else think it's weird for Nash to return to lackey status? Also....still wondering.....what the hell will he do at WM?
Guest Tony149 Posted February 21, 2002 Report Posted February 21, 2002 I don't find it weird. I always considered Hall & Nash the force of the nWo, that Hogan took a ride on. Dave Scherer from 1wrestling said rumors were running that the WWF won't booked Nash a match at WM just in case Hall can't wrestle Austin. So Nash is plan B if Hall can't go at WM.
Guest hardyz1 Posted February 21, 2002 Report Posted February 21, 2002 Well, it's good to know they're confident in Hall. </sarcasm>
Guest HybridNetwork Posted February 21, 2002 Report Posted February 21, 2002 Let's face it, if you expect anyone of the nWo to majorly screw up first, it's Hall. This situation is kind of like a football team having two quarterbacks, for the most part having equal skills, and one of them has a minor injury. You put out the injured one first and put the healthy one on reserve in case something really bad happens to the injured one. Kind of like what the Patriots did with this past super bowl. It's obvious the WWF is expecting Hall to F up so if he does they're guaranteed Nash can fill the spot.
Guest dreamer420 Posted February 21, 2002 Report Posted February 21, 2002 Wow. It didn't take long for this to turn into a Hall bashing thread.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted February 21, 2002 Report Posted February 21, 2002 iWow. It didn't take long for this to turn into a Hall bashing thread. it never does
Guest HybridNetwork Posted February 21, 2002 Report Posted February 21, 2002 I wouldn't say I was "bashing" Hall. I'm just saying that based on his track record it's not a surprise if they're keeping Nash ready as a reserve.
Guest Downhome Posted February 21, 2002 Report Posted February 21, 2002 I don't blame them for holding Nash in reserve really, at least they are covering their butts. Hall better wake up and realize what is going on, and shape up right now. He needs the WWF, and the WWF needs him at the moment. Of course, the fact that they even have to take this precaution in the first place is unfortuante, and rather sad.
Guest Slapnuts00 Posted February 21, 2002 Report Posted February 21, 2002 I had suggested in another thread that after a face turn Booker would be the best opponent for him. Thats funny that theyre keeping him open in case Hall doesn't show or isn't in condition to wrestle. Nash has always been best in a "lackey" role. Like when he was Shawn Michael's big buddy before the year long title run where his heat was killed or in WCW in the original nWo before he split into the Wolfpac and ruined everything.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted February 21, 2002 Report Posted February 21, 2002 Well....I still think it's weird after seeing him in that main man roll towards the end. Now seeing him back to being a lackey is wierd. It's like if the Nation of Domination was reformed and Rock became Farooq's lackey again.
Guest Scott Michaels Posted February 21, 2002 Report Posted February 21, 2002 Damnit, they better give Nash a match at Wrestlemania, he's far better than Hall.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted February 21, 2002 Report Posted February 21, 2002 Nash better than Hall? He may be funnier than Hall but Hall wrestles way better.
Guest ])r. ])eath Posted February 22, 2002 Report Posted February 22, 2002 Nash sucks. Plain & simple. Wrestling isn't always about offense, and you have to take some bumps sometime. Even Goldberg took bumps. Nash makes every bump look bad. Nash has always sucked too. Vinnie Vegas, Oz, Diesel, Kevin Nash... they all sucked. Uncoordination + Main-event push + booking power = suck.
Guest Flair5000 Posted February 22, 2002 Report Posted February 22, 2002 Yep. I think the best role for Nash would definetley be as colour commentator, with the occasional run in. Any matches with him in will be deathly.
Guest goodhelmet Posted February 22, 2002 Report Posted February 22, 2002 "Yep. I think the best role for Nash would definetley be as colour commentator, with the occasional run in. Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted February 22, 2002 Report Posted February 22, 2002 Yeah we need Bret Hart. God that man could make anyone not suck.
