Guest El Satanico Report post Posted December 17, 2002 After all these games the Giants just had to use Dayne this week. Oh yeah and then Bledsoe just had to go 11 for 33. Two more reasons for me to dislike the state of New York. Also god damn you Dallas for allowing Dayne two tds. If I had started Antonio Bryant i would've won. Guest jimmy no nose Report post Posted December 17, 2002 I know the numbers I got from Dayne were surprising, but seriously, who even knows who Dante Hall is? If Bledsoe would have played like he had been earlier this year you could have easily had the highest scoring game of the year. This is only the fourth time I(the number 2 team) have gone over 100 points this year, and the first two were weeks 1 and 2 when I had a real running back(The other time I got less than 1 point from 3 players). I would've been mighty pissed if I lost.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted December 17, 2002 Well Dante Hall has had several big games this season. Well this was the first big receiving game from Dante, but still a good game from him this season is less surprising than a good game from Dayne.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted December 17, 2002 well the #8 spot is mine for sure now, too many injuries killed my playoff run.

Heh, I guess it was a good call to keep Portis and Dante Hall after all, eh? In the meantime...am I hallucinating, or does it actually look like I pulled out my playoff matchup? Guest the pinjockey Report post Posted December 17, 2002 Well, being that it is Super Bowl week I guess I ought to get caught with hookers or drugs or something.
Guest Kingpk Report post Posted December 17, 2002 So where's the championship game? H.M Murdock Memorial Stadium (The A Team's home) or Tilde Stadium (shaped like a giant ~!)?
Guest the pinjockey Report post Posted December 17, 2002 Needs to be a neutral site.
Guest jimmy no nose Report post Posted December 21, 2002 Randy Moss had a pretty good game for me, 6 catches for 105 yards and he threw for a 13 yard TD. For Fear the ~! Miami's defense has also had a pretty good day.
Guest the pinjockey Report post Posted December 21, 2002 I am pretty much resigned myself to the fact I will probably end up in second considering Faulk and Owens are both gimpy and are playing for nothing.
Guest jimmy no nose Report post Posted December 21, 2002 I don't know, I'm pretty weak at running back, I've got nothing at tight end, Conway is questionable and hasn't done anything in weeks, Joe Horn is probable, Tim Dwight has been kind of weak, and Amani Toomer has a tough matchup.
Guest jimmy no nose Report post Posted December 22, 2002 I start Conway and he doesnt play. I don't start Marc Boehrighter and he catches the longest pass in NFL history, plus one other TD.
Guest jimmy no nose Report post Posted December 22, 2002 I feel kind of bad for Fear the ~! having quite possibly their lowest scoring game all year in the championship. I guess injuries finally caught up to them.
Guest jimmy no nose Report post Posted December 23, 2002 The A Team-140.82 Fear the ~!-46.62 Maybe not the way I wanted to win, but this was only the second time all year that a team has gone over 140, so there wasn't much of a chance for them anyway. Guest hardyz1 Report post Posted December 23, 2002 :::basks in the glow of 5th place::: Why oh why did I bench McNair the week I played The A Team. I would be basking in third or fourth place. Still, it's good to go out on an up note. Now I can go back to just enjoying football and not worrying if the guy who just scored was in my lineup or on my bench. Guest the pinjockey Report post Posted December 23, 2002 Congrats, there was no way I was touching the score anyway. I am just happy you beat me by more than 30 that way I wouldnt have to worry about kicking myself for not starting Green.
Guest The Man in Blak Report post Posted December 24, 2002 Heh, what a fitting end to my season. My "optimal" team wins the game against the Crackers...but because I start Griese and *gasp* bench Peter Warrick, I lose by 15. Though, in all reality, I didn't help myself by giving Donte Stallworth to the waiver wire when I panicked a couple of weeks ago. Stallworth nailed me for 10+ points this week and, if I had him, I likely would have started him today. *smacks himself on the forehead*
Guest razazteca Report post Posted December 24, 2002 Well I have the #7 spot as I beaten the Mutants again As for the championship game, it looked like the Superbowl of the 90s where the NFC used to run the score up on the AFC.......140 points DAMN
Guest jimmy no nose Report post Posted December 24, 2002 I could have had the highest score of the year by scoring 160 if I would have started Boerigter in place of Conway. I thought that with both of them listed as Questionable Conway was the one more likely to play. What does that matter though?

Guest Redhawk Report post Posted January 2, 2003 This might be a stupid question but... I won my (Sandbox.com) football league. So now what? Don't I win anything, like some money? Anyone else part of a Sandbox league that would know?

Anyone else part of a Sandbox league that would know? You win NOTHING, and especially now since in like a week Sandbox goes paid..so if you had a keeper league that you've been working with for a couple of years (like me) you lose it if you don't pay.. Now if you win a SandboxPLUS league, you might win some money because they are giving away prizes to winners or something like that.
