Guest razazteca Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 well the bye week catches up with me....damn you Patroits but Gannon should have a good game and Northcutt should do well against the Texans and the Dallas Defense should do better against the Cardinals. The win streak ends now A Team
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 15, 2002 Report Posted October 15, 2002 Im just happy that I have a 40 pt lead tonight, with Garcia playing. Hopefully Alexander wont go nuts, but even if he does, I still have a shot to win with Garcia playing...
Guest jimmy no nose Posted October 15, 2002 Report Posted October 15, 2002 Next week isn't looking good, no Ron Dayne, no Chad Johnson, and no Amani Toomer. Why are my players always out in packs? Who's up for some trading?
Guest razazteca Posted October 15, 2002 Report Posted October 15, 2002 the only thing that can go wrong is if Garcia throws the ball to the other team
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 15, 2002 Report Posted October 15, 2002 Well, that Barlow TD doesnt help me much.. At least S. Alexander is being held in check.
Guest razazteca Posted October 15, 2002 Report Posted October 15, 2002 Bobby Engram scored on a Punt Return plus had 3 recptions 40 yards = 100 yards of total offense
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 15, 2002 Report Posted October 15, 2002 I jinxed myself. S. Alexander just had about 55 yards and a TD on that one drive. CP has about 18 pts tonight total, Garcia has about 16 pts. Considering I was up almost 40 pts, I think its safe to say that S. Alexander and Barlow wont get 38 pts worth of offense in 1 qtr +.. Another good thing is that I scored 100 pts again this week after being around the 50-60 pt range the first 4 weeks. A Team, look at my trade, it will give you another Starter at WR/RB and you're giving up a Bengals WR for a Chiefs WR...
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 15, 2002 Report Posted October 15, 2002 LOL. Owens catches a TD and then signs the football with a pen he had in his socks and Im guessing he gave it to a fan. I wonder if thats what Owens is going to do now instead of an Endzone dance.
Guest El Satanico Posted October 15, 2002 Report Posted October 15, 2002 Now that's something i'd like to see.
Guest razazteca Posted October 15, 2002 Report Posted October 15, 2002 you can buy a collectable copy on E-Bay soon at $81 starting bid
Guest hardyz1 Posted October 15, 2002 Report Posted October 15, 2002 I'm willing to trade one of my defenses (Tampa Bay and New Orleans) and one of my QBs (David Carr, Steve McNair, and Tommy Maddox) for WR/RBs.
Guest Kingpk Posted October 15, 2002 Report Posted October 15, 2002 Bad news - Pats are on a bye, so I lose my QB, K, and D (but maybe that isn't TOO bad) and the Titans are off too, so there goes my TE. Good news - I'm facing Power & Glory next week, so I'll still win.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 Week 8 is gonna be killer with the Packers, Chargers, Dolphins and Rams on Bye Weeks. eh, good thing Im facing Power and Glory that week. This week is my toughest game for a while, vs MIB, but I think I should be able to pull it out and start a winning streak.
Guest The Man in Blak Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 Yeah, it's gonna be a pretty close match-up this week. Right now, my team is slightly banged up (not sure if Stallworth has been cleared to play or not) but, as we've seen this year, anything can happen. May the best team win.
Guest razazteca Posted October 20, 2002 Report Posted October 20, 2002 Expansion Team Rudos vs A Team QB Gannon vs Vick advantage me WR Northcutt & Proehl vs Horn & Moss advantage him RB Schlesigner&Chapman vs Garner & Anderson advantage depends if Garner is healthy TE Kleinsasser vs Flemister advantage me WR/RB Williams & Engrim & Scott vs Conway & Franks & Boerihter advantage me Kicker Wilkins vs Elam advantage him Defense Dallas vs Seattle advantage me so who will win? it all depends if the A Team is healthy if the key players are then they are a threat. A Team strength is WR and RB and Kicker Expansion Team Rudos strength is QB and the special teams
Guest razazteca Posted October 20, 2002 Report Posted October 20, 2002 Worst Team Ever vs MIB QB Garcia vs Griece advantage even - Chiefs have a bad defense but the Broncos might run the ball more often, the Saints have a better defense but TO could have a big game WR Hakim & Brown vs Galloway & Doering advantage Worst team ever RB Lewis & Jordan vs Thomas & Mitchell advantage MIB the Bears are playing the Lions and Mitchell is a good PR/KR TE Davis vs McMicheal advantage even again WR/RB Gardner & Gaffney & Dwight vs Kennison & Taylor & Watson advantage is a tough call but I give to Worst Team Ever for Gaffney vs Browns the Packers game is will settle this dispute. Kicker Mare vs Vanderjegt advantage to Worst Team Ever the Fish will score alot one way or another Defense Steelers vs Eagles advantage MIB the Eagles are just more consistant winner will be settled by the kicking game will Mare get the 50+yarder field goals again?
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 20, 2002 Report Posted October 20, 2002 Jabar Gaffney gets a Passing TD! Whoo hoo, it was looking bad early, but my most of my WR's are doing well in the late games (Gaffney passing TD, Brown 62 yards, Dwight 58 combined yards..) I need another TD though..
Guest razazteca Posted October 20, 2002 Report Posted October 20, 2002 the trade I made looks like I got the better deal out of it. TE Sloan of Saints for WR TJ of Bengals, I got back the a player who I lost in an earlier trade.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 20, 2002 Report Posted October 20, 2002 Grrrr... MIB 77.45 (Vanderjagt) WTE 66.05 (Pittsburgh Defense) Im down 11.4 pts, and with Vanderjagt's inane ability it hit 50 yard fgs, unless Pittsburgh can totally shut out Indy and get 12 pts worth of defense, Im gonna lose..Tight Game none the less..but color me disapointed..
Guest razazteca Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 I think my game is close as the supporting cast of the Expansion Team Rudos did nothing this week. Only one TD from somebody other than Gannon. But the kicker was on fire so I do not know how the match up went.
Guest The Man in Blak Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 All right, here's your Man in Blak StatTracker Fantasy Football Review: ============================================ The Men in Blak - 77.94 (M. Vanderjagt) Worst...Team...Ever! - 65.11 (DEF-Steelers) - Brian Griese, QB-MIB, 30.37 - Jabar Gaffney, WR/RB-WTE!, 12.13 MIB sez: Close game, just like we thought it would be. ------------------------------------------------------------ Bellingham NO MA'AM - 92.09 (P. Burress) Bama Roughnecks - 47.50 (C. Fuamatu-M...) - James Stewart, RB-MA'AM, 26.20 - Fred Taylor, RB-Bama, 22.5 MIB sez: QB's McNabb and Brunell score a combined 12.34 points in a bizarre matchup. ------------------------------------------------------------ Metaluna Mutants - 40.85 (H. Ward) Power & Glory - 52.05 - Drew Brees, QB-MM, 28.60 - Jerry Rice, WR-P&G, 14.80 MIB sez: With only four players scoring for his team, Power & Glory may pull out a huge upset if Hines Ward doesn't pull in a TD tomorrow night. ------------------------------------------------------------ Darkside Dominators - 87.74 (E. James, T. Mathis) Canadian Pride - 57.46 - Aaron Brooks, QB-DD, 41.64 - Laveranues Coles, WR-Can, 13.75 MIB sez: The Misunderstood Dominators steamroll and it begs the question - since there's no more prime time games for the Seahawks, will Shaun Alexander (4.00) ever score another TD this year? ------------------------------------------------------------ Expansion Team Rudos - 92.31 The A Team - 92.90 FINAL (unofficial) - Rich Gannon, QB-Rudo, 49.07 - Joe Horn, WR-A, 21.15 MIB sez: The closest game of the year, once the stats get ironed out. It should be noted that the undefeated A Team picked up Frank Sanders off of waivers prior to this game...and he promptly chipped in 3.30 points in this contest. ------------------------------------------------------------ Banker's Club All-Stars - 32.57 (J. Bettis) The Barely Knewyas - 90.31 - LaDainian Tomlinson, RB-TBK, 27.45 - Tim Couch, QB-TBK, 19.96 MIB sez: As of right now, the highest scoring player on the Banker's Club is the Packers defense...with 9.00 points. ------------------------------------------------------------ Fear the ~! - 104.69 Wraiths - 46.58 (P. Manning) - Marshall Faulk, RB-~!, 42.45 - T.J. Duckett, WR/RB-Wra, 16.70 MIB sez: Though Peyton Manning is certainly capable of throwing up a 40+ point day against the Steelers defense, it still may not be enough to counter a phenomenal day from Marshall Faulk. ------------------------------------------------------------ Satanico's Minions - 88.36 Intercourse Boxheads - 51.17 (M. Pollard) - Priest Holmes, RB-Box, 31.45 - Todd Heap, TE-Satan, 16.40 MIB sez: Injuries and the ill-fated bye week riddle the Boxheads, who will fall to 1-3 in their last four games. ------------------------------------------------------------ nutcracker - 79.65 (A. Zereoue) Fightin' Crackers - 59.70 (T. Maddox, M. Harrison) - Shannon Sharpe, TE-nut, 28.70 - Corey Bradford, WR-nut, 16.80 MIB sez: This is another one that will go down to the wire for tomorrow night, but here's a bold (stupid?) prediction - Marvin Harrison scores more points than Tommy Maddox to give the Crackers the close win. ------------------------------------------------------------ Space Monkeys - 74.99 (Q. Ismail) Poortucket Patriots - 77.26 (T. Peterson) - Ahman Green, RB-SpM, 24.80 - Garrison Hearst, RB-Pat, 21.85 MIB sez: Another poor QB matchup (10.20 points combined) leaves a very tight game up for grabs - Ismail may need a career day to catch up distance on Peterson, who may get huge point opportunities if/when the Steelers offense stalls out. ============================================ MONEY PLAYAS (so far): QB - Rich Gannon, QB-Rudos, 49.07 - Aaron Brooks, QB-DD, 41.64 Non-QB - Marshall Faulk, RB-~!, 42.45 - Priest Holmes, RB-Box, 31.45 - Shannon Sharpe, TE-nut, 28.70 - LaDainian Tomlinson, RB-TBK, 27.45 - James Stewart, RB-MA'AM, 26.20
Guest razazteca Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 damn it losing by small margins is getting me angry!!!!!!!!!
Guest Kingpk Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 .......... I do NOT believe this!
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 Hmm. A 12.8 pt defecit. I doubt the Steelers are gonna get me 13 pts on Defense and stop Vanderjagt from getting any points (meaning that they'll probably have to have a shutout) Hmm. Blocked fgs count as points for the defense (me) and negative pts for the Kicker (MIB) though, so theoretically I still have maybe a 1 in 1 million shot, but at least I still have a shot.. *searches for some information on how to put a jinx/curse on a football player*
Guest jimmy no nose Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 93.71-92.18 Thank You, Joe Horn.
Guest hardyz1 Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 Man, I'm in a close one. I just need Maddox and Harrison to score 20 more than Zereoue. It's gonna be tight.
Guest hardyz1 Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 And I'm so pissed that Jake Reed dropped that pass in the end zone. Damn.
Guest razazteca Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 you lucky SOB Jimmy No Nose, I lost the game on an INT!!!! defeated by players that I cut early in the seasonn. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
