Marvinitude 4 Life 15.45

Satanico's Minions -1.80

My goal is to win the next two games and finish with a .500 record.

if everybody with 8-4 record loses and I win with a large margin then I could squeeze into the #4 spot.

Mavintude needs to win!

Well, I'm totally screwed. Steve McNair is injured (and you know it has to be bad if it keeps him out of the game) and Tommy Maddox isn't starting, so guess who I'll have to start at QB? David fucking Carr. Yikes.

Maybe I should start Maddox with the hope that Kordell blows early and Tommy saves the day again.

Yes, your team was looking pretty strong, but maybe I can win it at the QB position if Carr does bad or you start someone who doesnt play. Michael Vick is against Minnesota, who will give him more time to throw, and he has been putting up good passing numbers the past few weeks. I hope David Carr is closer to week 2 David Carr than week 11 David Carr.

Aside from the QB spot, though, most of my offensive players are against good defenses. But Marvin Harrison (my new god) is against Houston, so 20+ isn't out of the question. Longwell got me 15 the last time they played the Bears, so I'm hopeful with that.

Here's something scary: If I didn't have Carr, I would've picked up Neil O'Donnell for this week.

McNair will start, Bennett will start!

It's still too iffy, though, and I'll lose anyway, so I'll stick with Carr just to see what happens. And if McNair does well then I'll be pissed.

McNair started and had a good game so far.

Well, fuck. What a horrendous week.

Barring Rich Gannon getting struck by lightning, that pretty much wraps up my chance at the fourth playoff spot.

I got blasted by Clinton Portis and Ricky Williams who both scored 25 pts plus..

That sucks..

Unless Tim Brown explodes i may be able to sqeak out a win this week. Amazing after getting NEGATIVE points from my QB. You're lucky i didn't play Bledsoe this week.

Tim Brown has been Mr. Invisible to Gannon the whole season. If he even gets 2 balls thrown to him, Id be surprised.

its possible that the Raiders will throw to Tim Brown, but its been mostly the Jerry Rice and Porter show.

The Eagles Defense had a huge game that scared the hell out of me, of course the MIB was a one sided team.....weak at the QB.

Fuck. Double fuck. :::bangs head repeatedly into wall:::

I would like to take this time to apologize to Steve McNair. Steve, I was not aware that you were an indestructible being that was unaffected by any injuries or the environment. You had injuries in your toes, ribs, and shin, and went out into the wind and kicked ass. Had I played you, I would be in the driver's seat this week. From now on, I will make an idol of your image and bow to it five times a day.

I might add that, in addition to having the injured quarterback situation, my lead tailback broke his finger in Lambeau and, thus, got four carries on the entire day, my tight end brought down negative points and someone forgot that Stallworth existed in the TB/NO game.

T'was just a lousy week...though if Gannon throws for his usual 40 point barrage, even my optimized team sans Griese couldn't pull it out.

I need Charlie Garner to stay within 14 points this of Curtis Martin tonight. Did Michael Vick's passing numbers put him in negative points this week? I thought his running numbers alone would go over 20 points.

Yeah, when I saw Vick's numbers I figured he'd get over 30. What hurt him were 17 incompletions (to his 11 completions), 1 interception and 2 lost fumbles.

Well my lead in my game is way larger then i had figured. Unless Tim Brown explodes for 40 points i will be safe.

It's impossible for one WR to get 40...right?...right?

Guest razazteca

if Tim does go for 40 points he needs to get all of the recptions and all the TDs plus some return yardage, it possible but unlikely.

4 Tds = 24 points

16 receptions = 8 points

100 yards on returns = about 5 points

add some 2 point conversions

I am only 1 win and 3 points away from the 4th spot! And I play Power & Glory! All I need is for Satanico :firedevil: to lose and I am in for the BCS Smart Marks Championship Bowl!

I shall have that At Large Spot

Posted

You'll have that 4th spot when you pry it from my cold, dead hands.

Guest razazteca

I just need you to lose along with some others and then get more than 100 points again. I was the #1 scorer this week.

the At Large spot is mine it does not matter if it is the #3 or #4 just as long I get there.

If any playoff teams are interested in trades, I will trade any of my WR/RB

I know I don't have much..

Guest razazteca

well forget about the trades as the deadline has past without any warning at all.

If I hadn't been a stupid fuck and benched McNair, I'd be in fourth place instead of eighth.

I'm going to be without Frank Sanders and probably Curtis Conway again. I made the mistake of starting them last week when they were doubtful and luckily still came away with a win. I'm going to assume Tim Dwight will start due to Conway's injury and hope he does something.

Dwight never did anything for me when I had him active. He did well when I had him on the bench though.

made a few minor changes Williams & Northcutt out for two guys names I cannot spell from Lions & Bengals.

Hopefully I can get more than 2 points from these guys.
