Guest jimmy no nose Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 Good thing Moss picked it up a bit since his 2 catches for 3 yards in the first half. Sill, 5 for 51 and a TD is much less than I had hoped for from a first round pick.
Guest Kingpk Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 It's nice to see Robert Edwards back in there. And with 2 TDs to boot.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 Nice to see that the BarelyKnewyas score 100 pts and whoever owns them hasn't been active in the league since we started.
Guest jimmy no nose Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 Nice to see that the BarelyKnewyas score 100 pts and whoever owns them hasn't been active in the league since we started. That's alkeiper's team. Part of the reason they have so many points is because his entire starting team played 1:00 games. His QB didnt even play though.
Guest Kingpk Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 Well, Dr. Tom only has two more players yet to play so it's gonna take some good performances for him to catch up. Of course, I have to wait until Monday, where I have 5 players and my D going.
Guest jimmy no nose Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 I think I have a very good shot at holding on to my game. Marvin only has Tim Brown and the Steelers D yet to play. While those two could easily pick up some pointage, I have yet to have Joe Horn, Charlie Garner, Ricky Proehl, Jason Elam, and my Seattle D play. Plus I already have 10 points on him.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 I guess I should appoligize to the Man in Blak. I dont think I'll be picking our league games any more..
Guest Kingpk Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 Holy shit, this Bills/Jets game is GREAT! Looks like we're going to OT tied at 31.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 Ugh, Im down 9 pts with Tim Brown and the Steelers left, A Team has Proehl, Carswell, Elam, Garner, the Seahawks and Horn. *sobs* Im gonna lose..
Guest The Man in Blak Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 Heh, don't feel bad about it, Marvin - I hope you realize I was just kidding earlier about stalking you with the shotgun and everything. At any rate, it's not really your fault. Honestly, I don't think anyone could have expected Priest Holmes to have four rushing TDs, or for Fiedler to throw three TDs of his own. I mean, even if my offense had a good week (which it hasn't, but still), you can't really compare against a team that scores 90+ points on you with about half of their team on the field. I mean, I still have three key starters left to play, but I highly doubt that they're going to make up a 60 point deficit. T'was just a bad week - and we'll see how next week goes before pushing the panic button.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 Just as I say Im gonna lose, Tim Brown snags a nice TD catch, and Im back in the Game whoo!
Guest razazteca Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 well I would like to thank whoever drop Cory Schlesigner as he has produced a TD and 8.75 pts today, as he is my FA Superstar today and Damn Brett Favre is in overtime? it looks like the nutcracker is putting up a good fight.
Guest jimmy no nose Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 Stupid Stat Tracker isnt working for me anymore. I have no idea what's going on now.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 Hmm. StatTracker is working fine for me.
Guest cartman Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 All I have to say is WOW....Nice game!!! (Buff/Jets)
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 I was happy that the Skins won, even though the Defense sucked and the Offense didnt show up until the 2nd half. But Gardner had a good game, so I was happy.
Guest jimmy no nose Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 I had to restart my computer and got the Stat Tracker back up. What will I do without it next week? Anyway, when I got it back on Michael Vick went down in points. I think he's back to what he had at half time.
Guest The Man in Blak Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 I'd lay down the $8 for the StatTracker, but I'm not ultimately comfortable with my credit card information being on a non-retail internet site like Yahoo.
Guest jimmy no nose Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 Charlie Garner's having a much better game than I expected this week. I've had quite a few pleasent surprises, but I was kind of let down by Randy Moss. Joe Horn needs to catch me a TD ball.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 No he doesnt. You're up by like 40. You sound like Steve Spurrier lol.
Guest jimmy no nose Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 No he doesnt. You're up by like 40. You sound like Steve Spurrier lol. I forgot that we're going 6 against 2 now, oops. I was kind of hoping for a huge week from the Wide Recievers, but I think my other players more than made up for it. 27 from Vick, 18 from Garner, and 11 from the kicker Elam are all way more than I expected. I got helped quite a bit by a disappointing showing from Jeff Garcia.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 Dang the fact that I can't drop anyone!
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 This is gonna get ugly. Week 3: 5 of my 12 starters are on byes. Week 4: Garcia and Gardner are on byes. Uhg. I might as well put 0-4 in the record.
Guest razazteca Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 why oh why did'nt the Rams go for the Field goal? I got cheated out of 3 pts
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 I think I need to pull a couple trades. I really need a 2nd RB and maybe a decent WR/RB starter. argh, as I know that no one is gonna want to trade.
Guest jimmy no nose Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 Is it safe to assume the Steelers Defense won't score 50.57 points?
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 Hmm. I doubt it, but if they do, there will be a lot of Patriot fans going nuts. 50 pts is only like 7 defensive TDs...so, no, you win. Congratulations..
Guest hardyz1 Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 Curtis Martin just had to get hurt. That sent my RB situation to shit. Thankfully I got nice numbers from McNair, Booker, and Longwell. Power&Glory had two injured players and one empty spot in his lineup and he still got 95 points. Shit. Stupid Vinny. Overall I guess I'm pleased with this week.
Guest converge241 Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 1-0 baby, the undefeated streak begins
