I remember loving the first one and being disappointed with the second. Maybe soon (after this move), I'll dig up my Gaiman stuff and re-read them all. Guest starvenger Report post Posted July 29, 2002 Off the top of my head... The first one was kinda fun. The second wasn't too bad, but didn't seem to have the same oomph to it. It may have been Bachalo's artwork, since I thought it got better towards the end with Buckingham doing the pencils. I guess I'll have to read the stuff again... As for the Death comics, the single thing I remember most was the intro that Tori Amos wrote for one of them. Talk about frightening, someone get that woman some lithium, stat! I don't believe that to be true. However, Sandman is such a pinnacle of his career, it's probably what he will always be remembered for.
