Guest Sebastian_the_Bastard Report post Posted July 29, 2002 Is it just me, or was FF4 not all it was cracked up to be? I expected it to be insanely hard... but it didn't get hard until you got on the moon. And the dialogue was only a little bit different. But I do prefer FF4 over FF2 simply for the fact that it is at least a little more challenging. Well? I love you all!!!, Sebastian the Bastard
Guest The Man in Blak Report post Posted July 29, 2002 Meh - the dialogue's a little different, but in reality, I think FF2 is a much more polished game. And yeah, the difficulty on the moon has been ramped up in Chronicles, but that's about it - actually, some of the other boss fights were easier for me. Guest Sebastian_the_Bastard Report post Posted July 29, 2002 I agree... with FF4 being the hardtype, I expected more. The whole game is easy as hell... and then the moon is tough. What gives?
Guest Sebastian_the_Bastard Report post Posted July 29, 2002 Oh, but the other abilities are cool (like how Dark Knight Cecil had some special move... don't remember what) and Rosa has Pray and a lot of other characters had really cool moves. That was kind of cool.
Guest The Man in Blak Report post Posted July 29, 2002 Yeah, but about half of the special moves were quite worthless. Other than Cecil's Dark Wave (which does help the confrontation on Mt. Ordeals make more sense), Yang's charge up thing, and Rosa's pray...I used none of 'em.
Guest Sebastian_the_Bastard Report post Posted July 30, 2002 Rosa's pray is about as worthless as they come. YAY!!! On the moon we can all get 100 hit points back! And it only succeeds about 25% of the time or less.
