Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted July 29, 2002 Confirmed Spoiler: Identity Of SmackDown! Defector The following news is derived from Buck Woodward and 1wrestling.com: As it stands right now, Chris Jericho is the person who was "in the limo" with Eric Bischoff on last Thursday's SmackDown! At this point, he will be the person revealed on tonight's RAW that defected from SmackDown! to RAW. Chris Jericho is not booked for tonight's SmackDown! house show that takes place right around the same time RAW is being aired live. This lead many to believe at the beginning that he was in fact the defector, and at this point that is the case. I say at this point as WWE is infamous for changing their ideas at the last second, and have been going for the "shock value" lately. The person could change 100 times prior to RAW going live tonight, but at this point it is Chris Jericho.
Guest jimmy no nose Report post Posted July 29, 2002 Wasn't Jericho in the ring when Bischoff said someone was in the limo? Did I miss something or was he still there?
Guest the pinjockey Report post Posted July 29, 2002 They never actually showed that someone was in the limo so he could have just gone later or the WWF has no real logic so the two places at once theory might have just been ignored.
Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted July 29, 2002 For all we know. They may play it off and actually have someone else in the limo. Jericho could just be an extra surprise jump.
Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted July 29, 2002 HHH had to have his personal bitch follow him to Raw
Guest the pinjockey Report post Posted July 29, 2002 I am not buying into it completely yet because if I was Vince I would have a few wrestlers there just so the secret wouldn't get out. Have a couple of decoys.
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted July 29, 2002 If this is true... Poor poor Jericho. Although HHH is a heel.

Guest nikowwf Report post Posted July 29, 2002 Jericho was not in the ring. He already ran to the back and the faces were alone in the ring celebrating. Niko

Guest Angle-plex Report post Posted July 29, 2002 Hunter should just put a leash on Jericho.
Guest Human Fly Report post Posted July 29, 2002 If this is true... Poor poor Jericho. Although HHH is a heel. Jericho will probably turn face tonight. HBK won't wrestle HHH at Summerslam, he will squash Jericho and build up the HBK match till Survivor Series. AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH
Guest myburninghammer Report post Posted July 29, 2002 I'm guessing they're moving him over to fued with Booker T, which in theory is all fine and good, but since they've buried both those guys so much in the past year, someone's getting a free funeral come Summerslam. Guest LesnarLunatic Report post Posted July 29, 2002 HBK and Jericho would team up and Jericho would lose all the matches
Guest the pinjockey Report post Posted July 29, 2002 Well one positive is that Jericho won't have an extended Edge feud. If it is never brought up again his loss to Edge in the cage won't mean much so he could be saved from that. Positive thinking here. Maybe Jericho went to Raw so he could retire the Undertaker. It could happen right?
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted July 29, 2002 With taker's new attitude? Hell yes.
Guest saturnmark4life Report post Posted July 29, 2002 i was hoping jericho would retire taker too, even if it would have made more ense a while back. It'll be hhh, but hey we can dream.
Guest prez Report post Posted July 29, 2002 Jericho is to HHH what Jerry Flynn was to Goldberg.
Guest thebigjig Report post Posted July 29, 2002 I hope that if Jericho is the mystery person, that it leads to a program with Flair
Guest claydude14 Report post Posted July 29, 2002 damn, i was hoping mark henry was in the limo so he and d lo could show the island boys not to mess with the real deal now, and then kick their sorry asses out on the street. edit:spelling
Guest Human Fly Report post Posted July 29, 2002 If they make a big deal about him jumping they should at least let him cut a "Raw is Jericho" promo. This should (should being the operative word) lead to some kind of push. At least they are doing something with him, and not jobbing him out (hopefully). Guest DJ Jeff Report post Posted July 29, 2002 If it is Jericho, then I'll know for sure that HHH had something to do with it. HHH wanted his own personal bitch to follow him to RAW, so he could keep holding him down some more. This is the reason I'm really hoping the WWE changes it's mind and picks Hogan or someone else. Guest Shaved Bear Report post Posted July 29, 2002 excuse me for defying logic, but wasnt Jericho at ringside...they are gonna have alot to work out with that
Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted July 29, 2002 Radical Idea: Wait and see if it's Jericho before jumping on the "Hunter needed his bitch there" bandwagon.
Guest bcu1979 Report post Posted July 29, 2002 I hope that if Jericho is the mystery person, that it leads to a program with Flair That would be a good first program for Jericho on RAW. He could feud with a high profile name and get a big win for a change. In fact, if the WWE is serious about making Jericho's jump a big deal, he should lay out both Flair and Rock at the end of RAW. I know this is probably out there, but anyone else think there's a chance they may just align Jericho with Triple H. There's really no room on RAW right now for another upper card face. Triple H seems to be a more interesting character when he has someone to play off (Chyna, D-X, Stephanie, etc.) Logic has never stopped the WWE from creating new alliances before. And besides, Triple H then has someone to do jobs for him again. Okay, maybe not. But the likely scenario is too depressing to think about. Just keep him away from the RVD/Benoit match. Jericho should be above the IC title by now.
Guest Raven_Effect01 Report post Posted July 30, 2002 In fact, if the WWE is serious about making Jericho's jump a big deal, he should lay out both Flair and Rock at the end of RAW. Though as long as HHH has backstage stroke, I can't see Jericho being made to look like a threat by laying out Rock and Flair at the end of Raw anytime soon. I'm not sure who Jericho's going to feud with yet since he could have been just traded to Raw. I'm hoping it isn't being made to look like HHH's bitch again or jobbing to Bubba Ray Dudley like Benoit had to on PPV, ugh.
