Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted July 30, 2002 Ok...with the WWE World (not using the U word) and woman's titles available on both shows...why does Raw get 3 belts and Smackdown only 1. It makes sense to have the champ go both ways (with The Rock I wouldn't doubt...bad pun)...no one really cares about the chick belt anyway. With the IC title, Hardcore title, and tag titles on Raw is Smackdown going to leave room for more cruiser matches now? Is a Smackdowner going to sneak onto Raw and take the Hardcore title? With Molly and Trish feuding the woman's title seems to be a staple on Raw, so it's kinda like 4 to 1. So with no belts to go after on Smackdown is it just going to be empty feuding? Less likely but possible as soon as they put the hardcore belt on someone who is worth stealing(probably Jeffrey) they will steal him and the belt. I believe it was a week or so before Vengeance. As for the tag team titles, IMO, they'll probably become "floating" titles. Or at least, I hope they do. I think that SmackDown needs to take the Hardcore then DITCH the stupid 24/7 thing. The one way they can make 24/7 important is by, say, having a Raw talent out at a bar or something after a match and getting sneak attacked by an SD star. You heard me right. Take the Hardcore to SmackDown and KEEP IT THERE. It's worthless on Raw, but it would give the Randy Ortons and Mark Henrys and Batistas a reason to fight on the other show.
