My two are: 1)Mamma's Family-this show sucks so fucking bad, yet TBS replaced Family Matters with it years ago, and it's still there. 2)Diff'rent World-where do they find this crap? Anyone else?

Sabrina is the single most unfunny show in the history of shows, and it's still fucking on after, what, 7 years. Kill me now. Clueless, though cancelled, mostly because it's shown after Newsradio here in the Bay Area which is a waste of a half hour that can go to another ep of Newsradio.

The jokes are really lame one-liners, the characters (aside from Chandler and Phoebe, I guess) are all unlikeable whiners, yet it's one of the highest-rated shows on TV. I wish NR got 1/4 of the promotion that this show did! I actually enjoyed Clueless, almost as a guilty pleasure, but it still had a certain charm...until they replaced her dad with a new actor and they started doing those "message" episodes (don't do drugs, etc.).
Guest godthedog Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 i hate 'undressed' on mtv. hate it. hate it. hate it. hate it. first of all, the network's too cheap to shoot it with a decent camera, so the whole thing just looks blurry and pukey. the stupid fucking kids on the show can't act. it's impossible to tell any of the characters apart, because there is NOTHING unique about ANY of them. there are too many stupid fucking characters. the dialogue is horrible. my main problem: every character is so fucking shallow, it literally makes me sick to my stomach to watch it. they have no insight on anything whatsoever, and have no development at all outside of who they want to fuck. teeny boppers aren't even this shallow in real life. it's like some horny 14-year-old boy tried to write 'your friends and neighbors'. 'your friends and neighbors' had equally contemptible characters, but at least the movie was trying to SAY something about their selfishness and vacuousness. this show has no such insight, it only expects you to care about these horny teenage consumers and who they want to fuck. possibly the single most one-dimensional show in the history of television.

(Bobby, the Demon Child, especially) Most "Reality" TV shows: Hey, fuckwads, putting 15 people in a very nice house and believing people give a shit what they do is NOT reality, it's a fucking GAME SHOW (the Mole is the only show that actually makes you use your fucking brain once in a while). 7th Heaven: That family seems to have EVERY FUCKING PROBLEM known to man happen to them. Plus David Gallagher is Demon Child II. Oh, and Beverley Mitchell, not hot. I'm not done yet Boston Public: Another show where everything imaginable happens in that damn school. And what is David E. Kelly's fascination with Boston? Here's the truth about high school: it's incredibly boring (well, I DID go to Disney and NYC on band competitions, but that's beside the point.) The Drew Carey Show: I LOVE the show in syndication, but the last few seasons? YEECH. What the fuck happened to the writing?

What did everyone see in it? Friends is/was equally as bad, the comedy in them is just so contrived.

I can see how people might dislike it. But, you know, Seinfeld proved that unlikeable whiners can get over with the audience. That being said, I only really liked Kramer on Seinfeld, and I can't stand Monica and Ross on Friends. The Big 3 can't be trusted with handling minorities in comedies properly anyways (and the other 3 as well, but to a lesser extent). I still cringe at the horror that was "All-American Girl"... The Mole and Amazing Race aren't bad, but stuff like Real World, Survivor and Big Brother are total and complete garbage. Everyone Loves Raymond. I don't understand why this show is so popular. None of the characters are likeable, and it's never funny. Ray Romano is grating.

Guest The Amazing Rando Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 I agree with pretty much every reality series ever... but I really enjoyed "Murder In Smalltown X" because even though you know it's just a game and that people don't really die....it pulls you in and makes you think about every detail of what is going on... Sadly...the winner of that show perished on 9/11...... The most annoying show on TV......beyond a shadow of a doubt.....EVER.............was Full House I did like the show growing up...I watched it on TGIF...but when you look back on it...it is basically quite a large Brady Bunch/My Three Dads mixture... every possible situation EVER was used in the 8 or 9 years it was on...and what did they do for a finale.......AMNESIA.... Amnesia angles don't work, DAMMIT! the only cool thing about the TGIF shows was that they all went to Walt Disney World at some point......those are the only episodes I can watch without getting annoyed...because I am a WDW mark....

I have had the misfortune of sitting through that miserable,bland,overrated crap on 4 different occasions and I have NEVER laughed at that show.I have now officially given Ray Romano all the chances I will give him.Maybe the title of the show has brainwashed the masses into believing this is a good show.It certainly can't be the show itself.
