Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted August 1, 2002 So Chris Jericho signed a guitar pick used by Rich Ward...does that not make much sense to anybody else? I might pick it up...nah. I'll put it on the X-Mas list. With my $25 giftcard to Strawberries, I'm buying myself Hard Knocks & Cheap Pops.
Guest The Superstar Report post Posted August 1, 2002 Well you're supposed to collect all 7...even though there's only 5 people in the band, plus that unfortunate victim of swinus, Arthur.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted August 1, 2002 Like I said, Fozzy's Happenstance goes on the X-Mas list. Why? Whereas Rich Ward (Duke LaRue in Fozzy, methinks; the guitarist) is one of my favorite guitarists and, in my opinion, the best lyricist hardcore/metal has seen since the mid-80's (where Mustaine's lyrics ruled the metal world, and hardcore was owned by Black Flag and the like), all they do is cover 80's bands. Sure, the 80's had LOTS of great music, and Chris Jeri...er...Moongoose McQueen picks great songs to cover, original songs are needed. That said, if Fozzy makes a 3rd album, they should record maybe 2 covers, tops, and the other 8 tracks be original. Since Ward is in the band, guaranteed he can write some great tunes. Dammit, now I have the urge to review Stuck Mojo's Violate this because of my Ward praising...
Guest raptor Report post Posted August 1, 2002 It's a pretty great CD. Jericho's vocals are a lot better on this album. Happenstance, To Kill A Stranger, Crucify Yourself, and Big City Nights are all fantastic
Guest The Superstar Report post Posted August 1, 2002 Yeah, I actually had Avril's CD out of my Discman for a couple days listening to this
Guest ShooterJay Report post Posted August 3, 2002 Are any of their songs available for download yet?
Guest The Czech Republic Report post Posted August 4, 2002 That "Feel the Burn" song reminds me of a skit Bruce McCullough did on the Kids in the Hall. If you heard the song and watch KITH, you know what I mean... "Violation, Complication, Realization...and dance! and dance!"
