Possible SPOILER for Smackdown!

Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero Could Jump To Smackdown

Many seem to believe that Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero will be moved to the Smackdown brand sometime soon. With Smackdown only left with one exclusive title now (Cruiserweight), and the big bulk jump of the Un-Americans and Chris Jericho, the feeling is that two big names like Guerrero and Benoit need to be moved.

I agree, but what about RVD/Benoit??

The only thing that could make up for that would be RVD in the Main Events with Rock, HHH and Taker and NOT getting squashed.

Honestly, if they didn't due the whole "open contract" situation, they could have played up how Benoit was originally drafted to Smackdown, and Vince hadn't "made up for it" by trading someone, so Steph stole him back. That would have been a cool way to make Benoit seem more valuable.

They could always do the whole "you belong with Smackdown" storyline with him, but it's kind of pointless if it's open season on all talent. Hopefully they hold off, at least for a little, so that RVD gets his rematch. Those two had one of the best matches of 2002 last night, so a Summerslam rematch with a little more time to it could blow us away.

So, at the end of the day, the entire Smackdown roster will be on Raw, and the entire Raw roster will be on Smackdown.

Benoit would have to drop the IC title before a second Angle series, though.

I wouldn't be surprised if they moved over Benoit, Guerrero, Booker, and RVD in some combo.

"Here's to a future Benoit/Angle II series"

I must be the only person on the board not looking forward to this. It's not that I don't like the possible match-up, but the first set left me reall flat and disappointed and exposed Kurt for being one-dimensional (in that WWE style sense). Though the second could work really well, they haven't really improved on Kurt's game enough in a different fashion to really make me believe that they can pull off something amazing. Still, it leaves something to be desired but they really need to find some way to develop Kurt's mat work into actual wrestling stories and psychology, because they haven't done enough of that.

Why would Benoit have to drop it? Once Brockberg becomes the WWE Champion, Kurt Angle will most likely feud with him. After Kurt Angle wins the title (hopefully), Chris Benoit can chase after Kurt Angle leading up to next year's Wrestlemania. Title for title can be relived. That does sound far fetched but it would rule.

Beniot and Guerrero should stay on Raw, so they can battle the Canadians

Send Big Show to battle Mark Henry

Bradshaw to fight Holly

Raven, Richards, Dreamer, Credible to midcard Smackdown

That's not bad. But if they wanted to do the feud anytime soon, Benoit would have to lose the belt. I can't think of ONE reason why Kurt Angle, a man who has spent the better part of this year fighting for World title shots, would feud over a secondary belt. It's bad enough they made Benoit fight over it.

Bu that leaves Angle with no one to feud with, heel or face (which it looks like Angle is turning)

i don't particularly want to see another benoit/angle series either. Love both of em but i found the benoit/jericho and angle/austin programs far more entertianing.

Why? Just job Angle out to Benoit over and over again. :D

Now THAT would help no one. :) Benoit walking around with the Mark of the Midcard title and Angle unable to beat him? :)

It's going to be Benoit and RVD heading to Smackdown, with 2 other superstars, possibly Guerrero and Regal. Since Smackdown would need another title, that being the Intercontinental Title, Benoit would have to go to Smackdown. RVD would follow, since I smell a Benoit vs. RVD fued leading up to a match at SummerSlam for the Intercontinental Title. Guerrero and Regal would just make up for the other 2 superstars, and could maybe form a tag team, which would seem kind of pointless since the Tag Team Titles are on RAW. I wonder now what happens to Billy & Chuck?

It would Help Benoit!

No it wouldn't, because he'd still have that counterproductive belt.

Who actually thought that Angle was going to beat Brock for the title? BWHAHAHAHAHAHA! Man, I am assuming he will fight Brock, but at the end of the day Angle will be just another victim of the Path of Heatless Rage.

I'm not sure what to think of the SMDN jump stuff. Eddie needs to move since he is getting jobbed on Raw. Benoit has no real incentive to move unless he hates Bischoff from WCW or something. Raw would take a major hit if RVD left. Hell, since the split he's been the only guy who has been consistently good in the ring and over with the crowd on Raw.

I see Benoit and Eddy leaving...and RVD following to get his belt back.

But I don't like the idea of RVD back on SD!...because last time he was on the show...he wasn't quite as over...if you know what I mean

Trade Benoit, for all I care. *shrugs* It'd be stupidity to trade him BACK to SD after the whole Vince thing.

But leave Eddy where he belongs, on Raw.

Hell, trade Bubba and Bradshaw to SD, and I'll be one happy viewer. :)

If Benoit goes to SD! and doesn't face RVD at SummerSlam...well...first of all I won't order SummerSlam...but the WWE will be one step closer to the last straw with me.

IF Benoit goes and RVD stays...where does that leave RVD?

I'm glad the midcard title is gone...but what would he possibly do next?

They aren't going to elavate him (especially not on Raw with new people now brought in to take his place)

Wait a second...did RVD get buried while I wasn't paying attention?

Well...he's still the most popular face on Raw...and Raw has nothing but heels now...

What just happened here?

Thats a good question, what about RVD? What's the point of giving Benoit the ic belt just so he could go to SD and feud with Angle again?Benoit should be main eventing by now but Austin had to screw it up for him and now the bookers don't know what to do with him. RVD stays on RAW without the ic belt , he's either going to start main eventing ,but against who?Y2J is going to feud with Flair, HGH is stuck with HBK or Big Slow, Taker is burying rookies. Unless the bookers are planning on giving him the tag team belts but is RVD going to team up with Taker now against team canada(unamericans)? RVD on SD wouldn't make any sense, they already got too many babyfaces in that roster unless they are planning on giving RVD a match against Brock for a title shot at Summerslam. Hopefully we dont go back to the way it was a couple of weeks back before Vengeance otherwise the ratings will drop some more.

Oh well, it looks like Benoit/Eddie going to SD is "confirmed" now, as they were pulled from the RAW Houseshows. After Jericho/Canadians were pulled from the SD Houseshow they showed up on RAW, so it looks to be the same case with these two. Now...

...like I've said before, why in the world would WWE allow something this blantently obvious to be out there?

Keep the damn IC belt away from Benoit and Angle. They are above it, damnit!
