Guest mister foozel Report post Posted July 31, 2002 I think it's a really good record from them, even though its all B-sides and stuff done before. My favorite song from it I'd have to say is "Ha Ha You're Dead." I was thinking about it today, and I think it'd be a great song for them to play LIVE at Osama Bin Laden's funeral. Download it, and you'll see what I mean. Your thoughts on the album?
Guest Shaved Bear Report post Posted July 31, 2002 I dont like the concept of b-side albums, but I guess it's alright
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted July 31, 2002 You know, it's funny, I'm a pretty big Green Day fan, and I collect a lot of those imports and bootlegs and such, so I should really be hyped over that release, but it's been like a month and I haven't bought it yet. I was like, oh, I have most of those, eh... I dunno, it's like I'm not feeling Green Day as much as I used to. Of course, the fact that I've heard they're "regressing" somewhat for their next studio album probably has more to do with that then anything else. And Shaved Bear, what's wrong with b-side albums? If you're a collector it saves a SHITLOAD (pardon my coarse language) of money. Do you know how much imports cost?

Guest Steviekick Report post Posted August 1, 2002 what's wrong with b-side albums? If you're a collector it saves a SHITLOAD (pardon my coarse language) of money. Do you know how much imports cost? B-side albums are great. The whole purpose with Green Day putting out Shenanigans and last year's Greatest Hits was to keep people thinking about them. Smart marketing, so when the next album comes out people are still listening to green day. And it is waaAAaAaaAAy cheaper than hunting down imports and singles. if by regressing, Green Day is going more punkish like their first two albums, I think it's cool. Also, check out Mike's side project the Frustrators...they sound like Green Day if they did gutter/squater punk.
