Guest Phr33k Report post Posted July 31, 2002 NOTHING can uninstall. I have a bunch of programs that I don't need anymore on here, yet all the Installation Logs seem to have disappeared. What can I do?
Guest Razor Roman Report post Posted July 31, 2002 Deleting the directories for the programs (in the Program Files folder) will free up some of your disk space. It may not get everything but if freeing up disk space is your goal, that may be the easiest thing to do. You could also try to download or buy one of those "uninstaller" programs. If you're brave you can delete the programs manually and then try to clean out your registry (either using REGEDIT or a registry cleaner program) but that can get dicey. If you have the install files, or CD's or whatever the programs came on, try reinstalling the programs over the original installation, and then try to uninstall. Guest 4Life Report post Posted August 1, 2002 Reg Cleaner 4.3 worked great for me. Try it, but read the instructions carefully.
