Guest Choken One Report post Posted July 31, 2002 This could be a good thing if Vince shies from NHB fodder. Hogan's best movie was a simple Sci-fi movie, nothing outright stupid like a Wrestler and a evil promoter or Retired Wrestler Nanny, or Playing with Teen Ningas. So If Vince goes the No Holds Barred route...he will pan out again...but if he can Make more success like TSK and Sub.Commando...it could be decent but I don't want Ready To Rumble Scene II. Guest Shaved Bear Report post Posted July 31, 2002 i remembern when i saw TSK, i just thought how funny it would have been if he dropped the Rock Bottom

Guest El Satanico Report post Posted July 31, 2002 remakes...there's money in remakes Odd Couple: HHH and Booker T Grumpy Old Men: Vince and Hogan Othello: Booker T and Stephanie Citizen Kane: Flair Casablanca: HHH Star Wars: HHH(Luke), Shane(Han), Stephanie(Leia), Flair(Obi Wan), Vince(Vader), Goldust(C3po), Big Show(Chewbacca) Psycho: Storm, Molly and Linda as mother. Taxi Driver: HHH Raging Bull: HHH Se7en: HHH, Booker T and Beniot as the killer Braveheart: HHH and he wins this time around The Shining: Jericho, Stephanie, a contest winner as the kid Deer Hunter: HHH, RVD(as the guy that is killed by HHH's character in the russian roulette), Beniot, Flair and random diva's filling the roles of the women. Being Hulk Hogan(Being John Malkovich): HHH, Stephanie, Trish and of course Hogan eh i'm done...now i must go weep over the news that WWeee has a movie company. Guest Angle-plex Report post Posted July 31, 2002 Braveheart: HHH and he wins this time around In this version, HHH would be by himself against the British Army, and he would kill all of them without getting scratched. Of course, the british army would really be a computerized army of jerichos.
Guest DrTom Report post Posted July 31, 2002 BAD IDEA. It's written all over that press release, or at least it should be. WWE has *no one* who's half as marketable or charismatic as the Rock. Lita and Hardcore Holly might get a TV role every now and then, but you need to launch a separate division of the company to get midcarders guest spots on TV shows? Besides, why would they partner with Joel Simon? This is the man responsible for "X-Men" and "Wild Wild West," two of the most creatively bankrupt movie endeavors in the last five years. Hmm, I think I answered my own question.
Guest Angle-plex Report post Posted July 31, 2002 Rocky: HHH plays Rocky, who is an underdog fighting the World Champ. He knocks the World Champ out in the first round, becoming champ. (Champ played by, you guessed it...Jericho) Rocky II: HHH beats the hell out of Jericho again. Rocky III: Booker T play Clubber Lang. Instead of Rocky losing the first match, Rocky destroys clubber, and goes on to beat him again in the rematch. Rocky IV: RVD plays Ivan Drago, an unstoppable russian. RVD kills Jericho literally. HHH vows for Vengeance. The final battle takes place in Russia, with HHH beating RVD, with, of course, the russian crowd cheering for HHH. After the match, HHH cuts a promo about how great both countries are, which eventually leads to eternal world peace.
Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted July 31, 2002 Wow...HHH was really jealous of the Rock. It's funny because its true. I can just picture HHH whining to Vince that Rock is a movie star and Austin had a recurring TV character and he wants to play too. Can they go two weeks anymore without giving HHHaters more ammo to make jokes out of? Only MAYBE when HHH gets injured again.

Guest Shaved Bear Report post Posted July 31, 2002 or how about a remake of fight club, only instead of the cool plot twist, the entire movie is just Bradshaw raping people, and HHH beating up Jericho, without getting touched

Guest Raven_Effect01 Report post Posted July 31, 2002 Actually, this movie division is a smart move. They can make a cheap movie for 5-10 million and then make 20-30 million back on it easily on box office alone, not to mention the dvd and vhs sales. How can starting a movie venture be good when the fact is since 2001, Vince has been making a lot of questionable and money-losing decisions(whether he was forced to do them like with the whole WWF/WWE thing or not)? XFL, buying out WCW just to make them look weak along with ECW in the Invasion angle, signing Hall, Nash, and Hogan, having to change from WWF to WWE, the McMahons buying a high-priced condo at a time when a developmental territory was dropped and the main roster is taking a pay-cut, and now this? I see this movie thing as another one of Vince's obvious-failing ventures like with the WBF and XFL, and if he keeps this up, I can't see WWE lasting more than 1 or 2 years because they'll go bankrupt by then. Guest bcu1979 Report post Posted July 31, 2002 Anybody else feel that this is going to flop faster than the XFL? What do you mean? WWE fans are going to flock to the theatres to see a romantic comedy staring Triple H and Stephanie. They are the two biggest stars in the WWE after all. This has all the makings of another huge public humiliation for Vince. Especially if there's no real point to it other than to try and make certain huge egos happy. Guest Shaved Bear Report post Posted July 31, 2002 HHH and Hardcore Holly as corrupt cops Hardcore Holly: You still have the drugs? HHH: I no-sold them
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted July 31, 2002 Anybody else feel that this is going to flop faster than the XFL? I really hope that it does. Infact i'd love it if it flopped hard and fast. Watching something backed by Vince fail is one of the most enjoyable things on earth.
Guest Shaved Bear Report post Posted July 31, 2002 oh man, imagine if they malke a movie about the XFL
Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted July 31, 2002 Why would you want it to fail? If this is a successful venture for the WWE then this will allow them to put more money towards the wrestling side. I can't wait to see what the first film released is going to be. I think it will be hilarious seeing wrestlers like Booker T in these movies.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted July 31, 2002 Because i enjoy seeing Vince fail. Money isn't WWeee's problem so don't pretend that money would help a damn thing wrestling wise.

Guest DrainYou42 Report post Posted August 1, 2002 Cole should definately star in a movie. Hell i'd pay 8.50 to watch Cole kick the shit out of J.R. in a karate type Movie, either that or have J.R. strapped to a chair 'Clockwork Orange' style, and have him watch something that dosen't involve a HOSS. Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted August 1, 2002 Is this Mcmahon's way to commit Sucide to the WWE? The Company is on the ropes and Vince is going off on another outside of wrestling Venture... Remember he is at least 0-2 when he goes for out of wrestling projects, WBF and XFL ... Im sorry the Kid that Made the Xmen movie had to get involved in this, but Vince or Linda whomever is gonna be encharge of this travesity is gonna help BLEED more money from the WWE. With the less attention the People who made WWF gives the WWF to do this shit, the quicker the WWF(E) will die
Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted August 1, 2002 If Vince tried casting his boys in films and they get panned, won't it hurt wrestling even moreso? I mean for people that think wrestling is cheesy now, just imagine the frontpage headline of Triple H starring in Predator 3?
