The Upside Down American Flag avatar

For those who don't know, I recently took it upon myself to capitalize on this week's episode of RAW and copy the 'Un-Americans' gimmick and switch my avatar to an Upside Down American Flag. I did it because I thought it was witty at the time and would give the Un-Americans some support (even Test). But after a few short hours, all hell broke loose and people started crying bloody hell against me and my cyber group, The Canadian Alliance. And all because of that flag in my avatar apparently. People from Anglesault to Some Guy all the way to Angle-plex and Shaved Bear, took some sort of offense to it and it only turned ugly from there.

 

Anyways, what was said is said. What was done is done. The avatar was taken down shortly afterwards and has since calmed down. I thank bob_barron for his support last night, but more importantly I honestly apologize to any and all of those who were offended by my avatar. It wasn't intented to cause a scene like it did, and I hope you all accept my apology.

i really don't see any wrong with the flag being upside down on RAW....i know it might bother some people...but I know that they are characters...and that it's fake...and leave it at that...

In theory, it's disrespectful, and breaks one of the five millions rules about how the American flag must be handled (along with the regulations about taking it down at sunset, folding it a specific way, not letting it touch the ground, etc) that were all invented in the 20th century.

I don't mind the flag being upside doen on Raw because it's a heatseeker, but I do mind it on the board for the same reason. Some of us love our country and as such dislike it when someone disrespects it or it's mosts recognized symbol.

Seriously, this has to be the most pathetic stable ever. If you are going to form an allaince just because you live in the same country, why don't we start a wrestling alliance! Hey we all like wrestling!

Because we have different opinions about wrestling, and wrestlers we enjoy and dislike, because of too many in-group tensions, our wrestling tribe would not be able to co-exist, wouldnt be too bad of an idea though if we actually had a place to invade so to speak. I would just like to point out to some guy that Native reservations aren't only in the coldest places in Canada. There are reservations in B.C, too.
