Your right, i didnt go in depth into the site when i posted that...sorry, but when i see the words 'Michael Cole fansite' i just run screaming for the nearest computer nerd to hack the shit outta the place...

Michael Cole is a native New Yorker and a 1988 graduate of The S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. At Syracuse he did the play-by-play for S-U football and basketball games. After graduating from college, Cole worked in radio news in Albany, New York, and then spent six years at KTRH radio, a CBS affiliate in Houston, Texas.

 

While in Texas, Cole covered local news at KTRH and traveled around the world for CBS radio. Among the highlights of his career: Coverage of the 51-day Branch Davidian standoff in Waco, the Oklahoma City bombing, Hurricane Andrew, the war in Bosnia, Haiti, Mexico's elections, NASA and the space shuttle program, covering the 1992 Presidential campaign trail with Bill Clinton, republican and democratic national conventions and countless other stories which shaped America in the 1990's.

 

In 1995 Cole moved back to New York to work for WCBS, all-news 88am and the CBS radio network. While in New York, Cole covered the 1996 presidential campaign, the TWA Flight 800 disaster, The Valu-Jet crash, the Million Man March and other headline stories. In June of 1997, Cole realized his life-long dream to work in the WWF when he was hired as an announcer. Now, Cole hosts Livewire, RAW IS WAR, WWF Shotgun, international programs and is responsible for numerous other behind-the-scenes work in the Titan TV Studio.

 

Is all of that stuff true? I'm a little sceptical...

Come on. No one pointed out to Anglesault last night that he meant "eludes" not "alludes." If we went around correcting people everytime they misused a word, there'd never be any substantive conversation around here.

If they turned Cole heel, then his character might work. But otherwise he's just too annoying.

In my opinion, Cole flat out sucks....at least Tazz tries to talk about the match most of the time. Coach is better than Cole in my opinion.

 

The fact that Cole seemed to be thoroughly disgusted by Nidia only proves that something is wrong with him.

Absolutely, while Michael has had some less than stellar performances, he never bombed at a Wrestlemania with Giant Gonzalez, and Michael has yet to reach the peak of his carrer while Taker's passed him many, many, years ago.

 

The fact that he is ignored by most as a great announcer is downright ignorance. I don't know about everyone else, but I'd rather listen to someone who is paying attention to the product, instead of someone who is talking about Hosses, or Sooner Football.

 

But that's just me.

Go back through EVERY post ive ever posted and QUOTE where i have said 'I enjoy the Undertaker's recent matches with Hogan & Triple H". I DARE YOU.

 

And how exactly does being a FAN of the Undertaker, something ive been for the better part of 9 years, have ANYTHING to do with the way i judge commentators? This post was MEANT to be humourous, you do know what that is right? You know, when you.....laugh?

 

I admit The Taker hasnt been in ***** mode recently, but who the hell is when your stuck in a ring with HULK HOGAN and TRIPLE H. I'm pretty sure he had one heck of a match at Vengeance with Angle & Rock, two REAL performers.

 

Michael Cole is generic and boring, he has nothing to distinguish him from any other plain commentator. I'd pay you MONEY if you could give me a logical argument which proves that statement wrong.

 

This has been Taker-Man, saving Taker Mark's everywhere from the accusing stares of Smarks. B)
