Guest thebigjig Report post Posted August 2, 2002 If Brock wins the title at SummerSlam, and most likely he will... I get the feeling that he'll be a long term champion (long term as in WWE long term of about 7 months) So with that in mind, it's completely possible that Brock will main event WrestleMania 19. So with that in mind, who do you see Brock squaring off against if he get's the coveted spot? I personally have this feeling that it could be Angle/Brock. I've heard Ross mention this several times in the Ross report, and it's a match that I think would be great if the two are allowed to actually do some wrestling spots. Think about it... Moonsault vs. Shooting Star Press.

Guest thebigjig Report post Posted August 2, 2002 Ugh... Here's hoping for Angle vs. RVD. Couldn't agree more, but I don't see it happening. But hey, you never know As long as Angle gets a spot in the main event, then I'll be happy. The guy deserves it. He should've been in the main event last year
Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted August 2, 2002 The real main event will be .... HHH vs. Brock! Brock finally gets dethroned by the virtuous up and comer HHH.

Guest Just call me Dan Report post Posted August 2, 2002 I have a feeling Taker or HHH will find their way into the main event. You're telling me that neither the Rock, Undertaker, or HHH won't be main eventing Wrestlemania somehow? I could actually see Rock vs HHH
Guest DJ Jeff Report post Posted August 2, 2002 Lesnar© vs. Angle for the WWE Undisputed Title at Wrestlemania 19? Nah, I can't see that happening. If Lesnar....err....when Lesnar wins the WWE Undisputed Title at SummerSlam, I only see him holding the title until Survivor Series or Armageddon. Lesnar won't be the WWE Undisputed Champion until Wrestlemania 19. That's WAYYYYY too long, even for me.
Guest saturnmark4life Report post Posted August 2, 2002 people i don't want to see there taker the gayme rvd (i do like him btw) brock(like him too) so i'd rather have benoit/rocky personally, with jericho or angle making taker tap out to retire him and rvd will probably job to the gayme cos he hasn't yet. Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted August 2, 2002 HHH will be there somewhere. My guess... HHH vs. Undertaker where HHH gets to end the Wrestlemania streak.

You're telling me that neither the Rock, Undertaker, or HHH won't be main eventing Wrestlemania somehow? Guest Downhome Report post Posted August 2, 2002 I know you don't even want to THINK about it, but if Goldberg finally signs with WWE, I'd be willing to bet that the Main Event of WrestleMania X9 will end up being Brock Lesnar (heel, unbeaten) Vs. Goldberg (face, first WWE title win, ending Brocks "streek"). Call me crazy, but I can perfectly seeing that being the very main event, IF Goldberg ended up signing to WWE. Guest Just call me Dan Report post Posted August 2, 2002 True, and now that you bring that up, what about Steve? Who's to say he won't be back by then? Hogan came into the company the month before WM and was pretty much the headliner. Reading the recent RAW magazine with the whole Austin story, it seems like he'll be back. I could see Austin vs Rock vs HHH 3-way we never got at Survivor Series 1999.

There isn't really a way to predict who will ME WMX9, I mean just look at LAST year... ...who would have been able to say, logicly, that HHH/Jericho would be running wild on the PPV? Hell, or what about Hogan/Rocky? Fact is, it could be Austin/Steiner for all we know, there isn't no telling as of right now.
Guest bcu1979 Report post Posted August 2, 2002 Triple H is going to be in there somehow, most likely as the heel champ again. The only one way I could see him not being in the title match is if he gets to beat Rock or Taker clean in the "Hogan/Rock" match of next year's Mania. Guest Downhome Report post Posted August 2, 2002 i predict Wrestlemania 19 to be renamed WrestleMania H, where HHH will win every match on the card somehow ME: HHH vs. Brock If that happens, I wonder if it will finally convince the people who still refuse to believe that HHH has any input backstage, has any pull, holds people down, etc... Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted August 2, 2002 I believe the ONLY way HHH will find his way in the ME of WM19 is to go in heel champ. I don't think anyone can accurately predict who is going to be in the ME at WM because of factors like Austin and/or Goldberg showing up. Plus WWE doesn't book that far in advance, so I'm pretty sure they don't even know who is going to be in any ME's. Hell, I don't think they know who's gonna ME at the September PPV. Guest LooseCannon Report post Posted August 2, 2002 If Brock holds onto the belt until Mania, then Brock v HHH is probably the best bet. But if Brock's reign goes like I expect it to, He won't be holding the belt past Survivor Series.
Guest Downhome Report post Posted August 2, 2002 I will tell you know, if we have a face HHH going into WM again, and he is still at the same shape as he is now, it will be the first WM I don't order since 1992. Eh, well, the only way I WOULD order it if he went in as a face, is if the undercard just ruled all ass, so much that it canceled his match out, ya know? Guest Just call me Dan Report post Posted August 2, 2002 I would mark like a bitch if they brought in the ~BOSSMAN FEUD~ to "help get Brock over" and "establish him as a credible champion" Think about it, three months with him insulting your family and getting squashed will Really do the trick! Of course, at this rate, if the WWE THINKS Brock is over now, then by thier logic that feud would establish that he could get over in the same feud even the Big Show couldn't! He can do it all! Seriously, take the damned blindfold off. The one thing the WWE had over WCW in the end was a credible title. Can't say that now. Brock Lesnar wins the WWE Undisputed title. What a crock of shit. The ME of WM is going to be that heatless peice of shit versus John Cena with even MORE generic tights!
Guest Chuck Woolery Report post Posted August 2, 2002 Undertaker v. Hogan in a loser-must-retire match as the sub-main event. TLC IV between the Hardyz, the Island Boyz, and Storm/Christian Test and Chris Jericho v. Big Show and Kane And the main event... Shawn Michaels v. HHH. Seriously. Guest Redhawk Report post Posted August 2, 2002 The Rock still hasn't got that Wrestlemania main event win yet. So with that in mind, I'd say they're going to do Rock vs. either Angle, Stone Cold, or a heel-turned Triple H.
Guest saturnmark4life Report post Posted August 2, 2002 i'm pretty sure if brock busts out the shooting star press (and misses, natch) at SS, he'll be a lot more over than he was. edit:Alcohol appears to have given me some sort of brain damage, and so this post ended up in the wrong thread. I'm sorry. if someone can shift it to the nearest summerslam thread that would be great. I'd better go lie down.
Guest cabbageboy Report post Posted August 2, 2002 Why does everyone have this bizarre desire for Angle/Brock? First off, that match has no credibility as a WM main event. It might have a shot at maining the Sept. or Oct. PPV, but that's about it. Here is the way I figure it: Brock kills Hogan next week, whoops the Rock, beats Angle at his own amateur style, etc. Then they can get to WM with a storyline of RVD going against Brock. Call me crazy but I think this could draw. All they need to do is illustrate Brock's dominance over everyone, then show RVD's success against Brock (albeit without actually pinning him). Guest Chuck Woolery Report post Posted August 2, 2002 Couldn't they have done that with The Whole F'n Show against the Undertaker, cabbageboy? - Mike Van Siclen. Logically speaking.
Guest Redhawk Report post Posted August 2, 2002 Here is the way I figure it: Brock kills Hogan next week, whoops the Rock, beats Angle at his own amateur style, etc. Like Hogan would ever let himself get dominated without a DQ happening.
