Rock the special gues referee back in 1999 or so was awesome. The 1-2-It doesn't matter and the sliding people's elbow. That was so much fun.

Off that list...Li'l Naitch.

And why no mention of Marc Curtis, or Hat Guy? Yes, Hat Guy referee'd a match at an indy show, so he counts, dammit!

My favorite was Nick Patrick when he was the nWo referee for a short time in 1997.  My favorite moment was when he cut a promo on Chris Jericho (who was going to be facing Chono) for a commercial for the Souled Out event.  It went something like, "You couldn't beat me, what do you think you're going to do with Chono you little punk"

Mike Chioda...I've always liked him but it would have been Earl Hebner if he didn't SCREW BRET HART!

Teddy Long.

When I went to Raw in Ottawa in October, we were hanging outside the back of the Corel Centre when Teddy Long pulled up.  Everyone out there started chanting, "Teddy! Teddy!".  That carried into the show, where he acknowledged out chants.  It was fun.

Actually, Vince Kennedy McMahon screwed Bret Hart.  His family friend and brother also died in that fed.  McMahon owes Hart, all the Harts.

Do shut up.  McMahon owes Bret Hart nothing, Vince did what he had to do to prevent his title belt from getting on WCW TV.  As much as I love Bret Hart, there's no denying he brought what happened on himself.  As for Owen, that was an accident, no fault of Vince's, he compensated the Hart's sure, but it was still just an unfortunate accident.  I know not of this family friend you speak of though.

As for favorite ref: Mickey Jay, WCW's equivalent to Earl Hebner.

Earl Hebner

There is no other choice..its EARL HEBNER

The guy helped screw the biggest crybaby in wrestling history..that makes him forever a hero in my eyes.

I agree, btw the family friend was Brian Pillman which Vince Mcmahon had ABSOLUTLY NOTHING to do with. Geez...

I figured he was talking about Pillman, but he was being so fucking vague I couldn't tell.

How can you guys forget the original heel ref?

Danny Davis rules all!

You got that backwards.  Vince, Earl, and The Biggest Crybaby in Wrestling History screwed Bret.

As for refs I like Charles Robinson.

Any ref other than Nick Patrick or the God awful Earl Hebner.

I'm not fond of guest referee matches either.

Tommy Young ruled!!!! Whenever Flair was holding the ropes, he'd kick Flair's arms and the opponent would pull Flair into a 2.9999999999 count.

Mike Chioda is by far the best referee. He's fast, accurate and good at his job. And how many other refs have gone through tables on multiple occasions?

Tim White is the worst. He's so fat that when his knees hit the ground it sounds like a one count. Then on actualy two counts you think it's a three count because the ref is a fatty/

I also like Teddy Long.

You mean Shawn Michaels?  Not trying to argue, just asking.  Anyways, guess I'm just mad Hart got treated like he did, then the WWF fell sick, died, and, as of now, is rotting.  While WCW has been cremated...sad but true, as the song says.

I do mean Michaels screwed Bret and I dislike him for it.  How could he say to Bret (in the lockerroom after the match) that he had nothing to do with it and then go on Raw the next night when he knew Bret wouldn't be there and do the midget angle.

Shawn Michaels is a D-Bag IMO and I don't care to see him back in the WWF ever

Sunny Screwed Bret, end of story.

And my favorite ref is Nick Patrick, Evil Ref.

No one screwed Bret.

Don't you all remember.  Bret put Micheals over clean because it was the right thing to do, and who cares if he loses...wrestling is fake.

Oh that didn't happen...Bret is an asshole.

Half of those refs on that list I couldn't tell you what they looked like. The best ref was indeed Tommy Young.I was actually mad that Jim Crockett was gonna do an inquiry into Young's refereeing of the Dusty/Tully $100,000 match even after he explained what happened!Actually I don't remember the NWA ever going into it ever again.
