Messiah stabbed, thumb cut off, thumb stolen

Former CZW World Heavyweight Champion The Messiah was legitmately attacked late last night in his Granada Hills, CA apartment by two unknown assailants.

 

The two men broke into his house in the early morning hours and beat and stabbed Messiah with knives, before cutting off his thumb.. and taking the thumb with them.

 

He was treated at a nearby hospital and released earlier today.

 

The Los Angeles County Police are investigating and have several leads which they are pursuing at this time. The LAPD have detailed descriptions of the assailants and their vehicle, as well as the plate number of the vehicle.

 

The CZW Office spoke with Messiah earlier today. Messiah is doing fine and is safe.

 

As soon as more information becomes available, we hope to have more details.

 

We are all part of one big family at CZW. We all send our best wishes to our fellow brother, The Messiah in this trying time. Whether you are a CZW or Messiah fan or not, please keep him and his family in your thoughts.

Good Christ, I thought the days of crap like this in the wrestling world were over long ago. If they don't recover the thumb, I'd say that could be it for Messiah, it's really hard to do any standard wrestling moves without opposable digits.

All right. First off, this news sucks ass. Messiah is supposedly out of the hospital by now, though his condition, and the condition of his thumb, is unknown.

 

And I don't think that even Rob Black could stoop this low. I believe that it was a confrontation with two thugs, and their relationship with Messiah is unknown. It could have been two people trying to break into his apartment. Messiah could have stiffed them on a drug deal for all I know. Hell, it could HAVE been two pissed of XPW fans looking for "revenge" for all we know.

 

We don't know why Messiah was attacked, and Messiah may not know why he was attacked.

I just heard from SoCal Uncensored that they tried to cut of his penis. If that is true, these people deserve to be mutilated beyond recognition. And if who is involved that many people are hinting at, then he should also get mutilated and then fed to a snake. This is one of the most fucked up news stories involving a wrestler that I have ever heard. I'd hate to even think what actions could have provoked this sort of attack.

 

I hope the Messiah gets better and can get back to wrestling real soon. He is one of the few talented people to come out of XPW.

I agree with Fly. It is one thing to accuse HHH of holding half (well, all) of the roster. It's harmless. It is another entirely different thing to accuse one human being of having another human being assaulted, mutiliated, and nearly castrated and killed.

Well, no one has mentioned this but you gotta look at WHERE it happened. Granada Hills is hardly the type of place where random crimes like this take place (aside from the shootings at the Jewish community center in 1999). I've been there, it's mostly a laid back Valley area. Certainly doesn't seem like a place where a guy gets his thumb cut off for no reason.

Truly is a disgusting story.

 

You know, we don't know the whole story, and this occurence could be just a random, sick attack on a human being, or it could be a thought out assault on Messiah for revenge of some kind. Though we are all "smarks", we admittedly know little about most wrestlers personal lives, so the attack could stem from something Messiah did (any number of things, from standing up to someone to drugs or some type of crime can come into play here). Even if the attack was retribution for something that was seen as a fault on Messiah's part, NO ONE deserves something as heinous as what happened to him. Hopefully the authorities get their hands on these guys, and hopefully we haven't seen the end of Messiah in a ring. While I haven't been a Messiah fan from what I've seen of him, I do wish the guy the best, and hopes he overcomes the trauma that has no doubt been brought upon him. And if Rob Black is indeed somehow affiliated with this, then it's time to pull the plug on XPW because that sick fuck will be starring in some new pornos like "Behind These Bars" and "Who Dropped The Soap Part 7". Lock the sick bastard up.

This whole thing is pretty creepy to me, on a personal level, because I happen to look a LOT like Messiah, but slightly shorter, not as built, and with a smaller forehead. I doubt you could tell the difference between the two of us in a dark alley, which makes me REALLY glad I live on the other side of the country.
