Guest mach7 Report post Posted August 3, 2002 AWASTARS.COM has confirmed an exposing interview with former AWA/ESPN Ring Announcer Dale Gagne, now the current President of AWA Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. regarding the newly named GM of WWE's Monday Night Raw, Eric Bischoff. Just when you thought everything had been written about Bischoff's background, Gagne promises to talk about Bischoff's AWA day's, his early financial problems, the deception he used to get hired by WCW and more. This upcoming interview could very well rock the foundation of WWE's newest angle. Pretty lame if you ask me. The only way for these guys to get hits/viewers is for them to talk shit about someone who doesn't even work for them. I guess there IS a reason why no one care about the AWA. Guest mach7 Report post Posted August 3, 2002 Who are the AWA? American Wrestling Association. Used to be the third of the "big three," way-back-when... well, kinda. It's where a lot of 80's WWF talent came from.
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Report post Posted August 3, 2002 After the Gold Club scandal which got national press, how can some dumb wrestling-related stuff that happened years ago damage Bischoff's reputation at all, except among nobodies who already hate him (old wrestlers, smarks, net journalists, etc.)? Guest Ph34r Tha Leaf Report post Posted August 3, 2002 American Wrestling Association. Used to be the third of the "big three," way-back-when... well, kinda. It's where a lot of 80's WWF talent came from. Big three was really WWF/WCW/ECW. No NWA because of WCW/ECW.
Guest The Man in Blak Report post Posted August 3, 2002 Who are the AWA? I think this sums it up quite nicely.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted August 3, 2002 are you calling scott keith a nobody!!! He is a nobody, because almost all the other writers bitch against him. I've seen it happen before in the communities surrounding other interests of mine. The guy who is consistantly negative will eventually be hated by everybody else. Although, in the case of Bischoff, there's a lot of other noteworthy guys who don't like him either. CRZ for example.

Big three was really WWF/WCW/ECW. No NWA because of WCW/ECW. Uh, no. That big three was from the 90's. The original big three (of the 80's) was the WWF, NWA & AWA.
