Guest bob_barron Report post Posted August 3, 2002 I don't know if anyone else is mega into U2 but U2.com has the video for Ground Beneath Her Feet. Ground Beneath Her Feet is one of my favourite U2 songs and I was pretty stoked that there was a video for it and it kicks amazing amounts of ass so I guess check it out- the song was written by author Salmon Rushdie and the video really captures the song well. Guest Incandenza Report post Posted August 3, 2002 Rushdie is a great, great writer--look no further than Midnight's Children for proof of that--but I'm surprised at just how banal the lyrics are to that "Ground Beneath Her Feet" song are.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted August 3, 2002 I just really like the beat and the way the song flows. I love the mysterious and ark U2 songs like that and If you wear that velvet dress
Guest meanmaisch Report post Posted August 4, 2002 Ground Beneath Her Feet is a great song. I bought the Million Dollar Hotel Soundtrack and other than Anarchy in the USA by Tito Larriva, this is the only other really good song on the album. I like it better than Velvet Dress. Guest bob_barron Report post Posted August 4, 2002 I like it better than Velvet cause Velvet is hard to understand since Bono whispers a lot of the song. GBHF is also on the Int'l version of ATYCLB
