SHANE MOSLEY SUCKS

Recommended Posts

Guest LexLugerRules

Everyone was shoving "Oh, hes the next Sugar Ray Leonard" down my fucking throat, and finally Vernon Forrest, shut them the fuck up... TWICE!

Sure a victory over De La Hoya is impressive. But he is no where NEAR Leonard.

Leonard faced the VERY best, and BEAT THEM ALL.

Roberto Duran, Marvin Haglar, Tommy Hearns, etc.

And Leonard held titles in 5 DIFFERENT WEIGHT CLASSES.

And Leonard avenged his lose to Roberto Duran, while Mosley lost once again to Forrest.

MOSLEY DOES HAVE TALENT, but he is overrated, and isnt as great as people say he is.

Didn't Leonard get knocked out by Hector Camacho? *snicker*

I don't know how good Shane Mosley is, but its certainly possible that Vernon Forrest is that much better.

Anyone who saw Sugar Ray Leonard beat Duran into submission has to give him his props. I yelled out loud when I saw him hit the windmill punch fakeout.

Any man that can do what Leonard did to Duran has my respect and excuses if he needs them. Leonard was beaten by Duran the first time after Duran got into his head and made him fight a slugfest. In the rematch, Leonard outclassed Duran somuch that Duran decided that he would rather quit than continue being humiliated. I'm not saying that you have to humiliate your opponent, but you have to be one bad motherfucker to hit the windmill punch in a championship boxing match.

Another good Leonard momment was when he ran circles around Haglar.

Yeah, and if he punched him once in a while, he might have won the decision fairly.

Oh it's, not more of those "Haglar would of KOed him quickly, if Leonard wasnt jumping around people"

Face it, Haglar took Leonard lightly and paid for it.

Leonard DID out speed and OUT punch Haglar.

Did you NOT see the 11th round? While Haglar was out of it. Leonard was hitting Haglar with everything he got.

Actually my only recollection of the fight is when I was 10 years old. Still, I remember it being close, and really, either guy could've won. Leonard was a great fighter, but too many people, myself included, remember the Norris and Camacho fights.

Norris was a great puncher, I could understand a past his prime leonard losing to him.

I'll give Shane Mosley one thing over Leonard...at least Mosley doesn't retire every time he loses. That's the one thing I never liked about Sugar Ray or Evander Holyfield. Every time they don't like how a fight turned out, they quit for a while before coming back again. At least Shane stayed in the game.

When has Holyfield retired?

He retired after Michael Moorer beat him...and I don't mean when they found out all that heart condition stuff later, I mean he retired during the post-fight interview. He also retired (or at least mentioned retiring) after losing to Bowe in the 3rd fight and after one of the Ruiz fights.

I honestly dont care, if Leonard or Holyfield retired, un retired and so on.

They provided great fights, and were talented boxers.

In the world of boxing, retirements should be taken as seriously as retirement wrestling stipulations.
