Guest Claire_Flynn_Boyle Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 That would be Stephanie Wyant...oh dear lord...and Sean Mooney...and Lord Alfred... You kids today, you don't know your living with Cole...
Guest Dames Edna Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 Yes, I am going to start the Lord Alfred Hayes Foundation to take out the CwO...
Guest The Ruthless Aggressor Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 Lord Alfred Hayes was beyond awful.
Guest Retro Rob Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 I don't know if you guys saw Confidential, but it featured my favorite Michael Cole moment...the time Booker T threw up all over him. It was great.
Guest The Ruthless Aggressor Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 That was a terrible angle, the one where Rikishi gave him the stinkface which made Book sick over Cole, right?
Guest Dames Edna Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 Lord Alfred Hayes added a lot to a match, he was always on the ball, and I'd credit much of the WWF's success to Hayes' commentating
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 Hayes was cool, because he added an odd air of legitimacy, not through anything he actually said, but by being a stereotypical British guy. It always seems that when you have a British guy commentating anything, it has more importance for some reason. Hayes: "They're going to wrestle with that ladder in the ring?" Monsoon: "They sure are!" Hayes: "That's incredibly dangerous!" Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Claire_Flynn_Boyle Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 I'm personally haunted by his commentary on the Ultimate Warrior and Hercules... Lord Alfred: "Its...It's...It's as if he looked up in the air...and summoned all the powers...and all the little Warriors strength...and used it to great effect..." It just sounds really creepy...
Guest Tha Cunnysmythe Posted August 26, 2002 Report Posted August 26, 2002 I don't know if you guys saw Confidential, but it featured my favorite Michael Cole moment...the time Booker T threw up all over him. It was great. My favourite Michael Cole moment was when Austin beat him senseless. That was so great...
Guest The Flying Dutchman Posted August 26, 2002 Report Posted August 26, 2002 Favorite Michael Cole Quote: This handicap match has turned into a two-on-one affair!
Guest nWoScorpion Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 Austin got the best pop of the night i think when he kicked Cole into unconciousness just aboot.
Guest Raven_Effect01 Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 Cole gets pissed with Tazz losing direction to a Smackdown event:"Damn it! Not this way!"
