I know there are Canadians here....

Is Canada cool? I'm ready for change.

Not now, but in the distant future.

I've been there 3 times and I wasn't too impressed, but I'm going to Montreal in a few weeks and other than all teh French people it's supposed to be nice there.

Have you ever been there Bob? Just curious.

In fairness to Canada, I went to To when I was 11 so I don't remember a whole lot about it and I've been to Halifax, Nova Scotia twice. It was ok, but way to slow and quiet for me. After I go to Montreal I'll tell you whether it's worth it or not.

I've been to Toronto thrice.

Montreal and Vancouver once.

I've had a fantastic time each visit.

I was just in Montreal a week ago to visit family, and it is still a kickass place to visit.

there is nothing exciting out east after Quebec City (sorry for those who live there).

Some Guy. Montreal is filled with casino's bars and strip clubs so if your over 19...you will have a great time.

Hey Some Guy, if you wanna go to a casino, bar or strip club, we should meet up and I'll take ya on a grand tour!

Take your pick: Club Super Sex, Teazers or Solid Gold

I was born in Montreal (exactly 27 years ago yesterday...thanks for noticing, fuckers!), so I must defend the land of my birth and attest to its kick-assness. Even if I wasn't born there, I would still defend it, because, as redbaron and Hitman Jebus have said, it's an awesome place to visit, with great strip clubs, a low drinking age, and a shitload of peep show places and arcades. I fucking love Montreal.

It's great to know that Club Super Sexe and Teazers are still there. I had an awesome time at Teazers when I went. Is Wanda's still open?

Plus, they have poutine and great bagels. And just great food in general. There's a high ethnic population there, so you can find a lot of decent ethnic places to eat.

I don't know if I'd live there, though. Maybe when I'm rich and don't have to work (I assume the economy still sucks up there, even more than here).

By the way, I know you're a girl Still Fly, so you're probably not interested in all the talk about strip clubs.

Eh... I live in Bellingham, WA so I'm only like 30-40 min from Vancouver. Its clean.. but that is about it.

I live about 15 minutes from the Canadian border.

Which means I get Canadian beer cheap..and don't have to go far for topless dancers and casinos.

Other than that...they can keep it.

Montreal is the only place where I've seen a strip club and a sex shop on one side of the street, and a Gap and Blockbuster Video on the other.

At least I'll be able to drink if I ever go up there again.

move

D'accord

Je suis aller a Canada.

I think I might have to brush up on my French...lol

Guest Fook_Hing_Ho

Only if you move to Quebec. Otherwise you'll get along fine without it.

Guest Hitman Jebus

Even if you don't speak French, you'll be fine in Quebec.

Just because there are two main languages doesn't mean you have to speak both...unless you're looking for a job, then English and French are the LEAST you need to know...if you know any extra languages then you're a shoo in.

Well, the thing is that I want to speak French. I take French in school. I think it makes more sense than english. Everyones been helpful...lol

Guest areacode212

Well, it's good that you enjoy speaking French. On the day I took my final French Regents exam, my teacher told me never to take another French class again. Hehe.

But every time I watch a French movie, I wish that I paid more attention in class instead of flirting with girls. Subtitles don't really convey the subtlety of the dialogue.

The only thing wierd about Quebec though, is The Language Police.
