Why does everyone hate on Test?

They are worser wrestlers.

 

Atleast Test can put on WATCHABLE matches, trys hard, and has a decent moveset.

 

Plus he's finally getting his role as an enforcer for Team Canada.

Because, although it's been a while, Test used to recieve a renewed push every couple of months. And it would annoy the hell out of everybody. That's why there's a lot more hatred for test, than say Albert, who's probably just as bad.

He's been pretty good in Team Canada. He just needs to be the silent type, since his mic skills are abysmal. I agree that his ringwork sucks though, keep him as a bodyguard.

Not dissing you or anything, but I find the whole "he gets a new push every couple of months" bit to be complete bullshit. If anything, he just gets the midcard Merry Go-Round push like everyone else.

yeah, I agree with you on that lately. Test hasn't been pushed in a long time. But there was a time when he got more tv time than what he deserved. That's why people hated him. And sometimes once people start disliking something, they have a hard time letting it go.

As a guy who is a Test, I can say that I don't ever see him main eventing a WM. Hell, I don't see ANY of the Canadians ever headlining a Mania except for Jericho.

I never saw Rhyno in ECW, except that two minute match when he won the belt off the Sandman, but he's been enjoyable in the WWE, aswell as over. He has a good, unique look, too. Very menacing.

I think Test could main event someday. He'll have to get a little more charisma, but I've seen it happen to wrestlers with less personality. HHH springs to mind. I'm not HHHating when I say that either, cause I'm not a HHHater.

Rhyno's a better worker than he gets credit for. He uses the basics of wrestling psychology more than most. As for test, he's just okay, like venis, like edge, like albert. They're all decent, but just lack something. They won't main event. Well edge will, but whatever.

Test can go, but he needs to be carried. the guy can go psycho in the ring brawling (Taker beatdown) Can fly (elbow, nice) hits hard and has credible offense. With mic work and a little extra something to separate him from the rest (this angle is a start) he can do well for the conmpany.

He's just a smark target. the guy is heatless, but he has talent and a decent look. Pushed too fast? Yes. Incredibly underrated on this board? Absolutely.

Now, wasn't Test really over then? Yes. He got one of the biggest pops of the night with his match against Shane.

 

When HHH stole Steph from Test and they had a match the next week, the crowd was HOT....til he squashed Test. Then, DX punked out Test....and he's never recovered.

 

He CAN get over again and as a FACE, IMO...its all about putting in the work.

Honestly, even though I am a Test fan, I REALLY disagreed with him winning the IC Title last year. Part of it was due to the fact that they were just hotshotting it onto him to set up the Edge match at Survivor Series, and the rest was that I didn't think he was ready for it at all at that point. I don't expect him to ever main event(but who knows with the twisted logic that is the WWE booking team), hell, like I always told AS whenever we had our verbal sparing sessions about Test(or Edge for that fact), if they are going to push the guy, then DO it. None of this midcard Merry Go-Round horseshit that's been permeating the WWF/E for years. It just makes all the talent look like hapless dolts and people stop giving a shit about them.

Test is an average worker. At best. The position he is in now as the Un-Americans enforcer is a good one for him. He can be carried to decent matches (had a decent match with Edge last year, for instance) but anyone who thinks he is a very good wrestler is kidding themselves.

 

Another thing about Test-his elbow sucks. Everyone seems to think he can "fly". He does a top-rope elbow, thats it. Don't get me wrong, its very impressive for a guy his size to be able to do that, but the move itself doesnt look graceful at all.

No one's called him a good worker, we've just said that he's better then the rep he gets on this board. And with the flying thing, I don't really consider him a flyer at all. He just has the elbow and, on occasion, the dropkick from the top(he's pulled it out a couple of times, but not in a while).
