Guest Karnage Posted August 6, 2002 Report Posted August 6, 2002 Actually that was because Global (read: the Aspers) was cheap and didn't want to spend money to do their own production, whereas CBC didn't mind spending their (read: the taxpayers) money to create their own quality production. The end result is that we got good coverage from the CBS feed, but it just wasn't the same. It's like watching ABC's NHL coverage as opposed to HNiC. ABC's hockey coverage is way too bright. And the commentators suck except for John Davidson, but he's on HNIC anyways so theres no need to watch ABC. I'm not done with my Canadian television ranting yet...but that's for another time.
