This show was really stupid. I thought the first episode was funny when it originally aired (I was 11), but after a few years, I was all "what the hell is this crap?"

But I was pretty shocked the first time I ever heard Bronson Pinchot speak without his accent.

That show was good stuff as a kid, but it wasn't as good when I got to see it a couple summers ago when Nick at Nite ran a mini marathon of the show on a Friday. It was one of those shows that I never watched when I was at home, but I watched it everytime I was at my dad's place. Probably since he didn't have cable, which meant no Nickelodeon, which I fuckin lived off of as a kid. That show may have started in the late 80's, but it was also on in the early 90's. How long did it run? For some reason, I'm thinking it started back in 86, but that may be way before it did. Anyone know?

Yeah, I checked IMDB (to verify my age when it started), and it ran from 1986-1993. It seemed like a REALLY long run. By 1991 or so, I couldn't believe that it was still on.

I remember liking it as a kid, before I developed the ability to distinguish between quality and garbage.

The show really took a dive when they moved into that big house, though, damnit.

Yes i remember Perfect Strangers. I watched it every week when i was i kid.

However i wouldn't watch it at all now even if it did start airing in reruns again.

I Loved That Show!

Especially that episode when someone kidnapped Dimitri the stuffed sheep for ransom.

Even today, I think I would enjoy it, but more for the "This is so bad, it's good" mindset instead of the "This is the funniest show ever" mindset I had when I was a kid.

And to think.....from this show spawned Family Matters and the phenomenon that became Urkel.

Hmm..I didnt know that.

I was surprised the first time I saw the guy that played Urkel (before they did the 2 Steves on the show) in normal clothes, speaking normally and all..

TGIF on ABC was pretty cool..

Perfect Strangers used to be on USA in the morning, but it has been off the air for a while now. I used to love that show, although the picture you guys posted does look kind of disturbing.
