Guest bob_barron Report post Posted August 5, 2002 You all know that I love Regal and Goldust. Since I saw Dustin early 1992 and Regal in 1993 I've become huge marks for both and today I still am. Everyone has their dream matches. Mine is William Regal v. Goldust. And tonight this match will air on Heat. A match I've been waiting nine years today. (If they wrestled on WCWSN- I missed it) From Dustin to Goldust to TAFKAG to Goldust to Seven to Dustin Rhodes to Goldust from Lord Steven Regal to Stephen Regal to Steve Regal to William Regal I have waited for this epic encounter. I have often pointed out the biases of referees against Regal in that he always loses on a fast count. But if Goldust wins tonight- I know that will not be the case. Someday in the annals of time people will remember this period of the WWE and an old man will tell their grandkid- I saw William Regal take on Goldust. And I marked the fucked out. William Regal v. Goldust Regal is god. Lockup- Goldust pushes him back. Regal: Break! Lockup- Gldust gets a headlock. And takes him down. Regal with an armdrag and works on the arm. Goldust reverses and goes to the arm which Regal reverses WHICH Goldust reverses. Lockup- Regal knees him and works him over but walks into a backdrop. Goldust flies at him but gets crotched and Regal slugs him. Regal stomps away and works him over. Knee gets two. Slugfest Goldust wins and gets two clotheslines. Goldust works him over but Regal blocks Curtain Call and his arm starts to hurt and he pulls out his brass knucks but Goldust rolls him after 3:24 of action. Way too short- give them twenty next time.
Guest Incandenza Report post Posted August 5, 2002 A twenty minute Regal/Goldust match? That may be the biggest coma-inducer since UT/SCSA at Backlash 2002.

Guest bob_barron Report post Posted August 5, 2002 Oh come on- it was a good little 3 minute match and I'd like to see what they'd do with more time. Plus they both rule
Guest BionicRedneck Report post Posted August 5, 2002 Maybe 8 minutes? They could have a pretty good brawl.

Guest BionicRedneck Report post Posted August 5, 2002 I really enjoyed Goldust as of late. He could really go back in the day. Oh, and he has a good powerslam Now, Regal, is the man. I'm British so i probably appreciate his humor more than most. On RAW when he was talking to the Un-Americans and they asked how his pulled muscle was, his response was classic. "OOH, it doesn't half bloody hurt, i'll tell you that"
