I was listing to TalkWrestling on TalkSport (Saturdays 8:00 - 10:00pm) on the radio here in the UK. It's a wrestling show that talks about the wrestling scene around the world and often features guest like Bill Apter and Dave Meltzer (sp?). Anyway, the theme of the show this week was who is you favourite wrestler that you are embarassed to tell people about. Most people said either X-Pac or Bradshaw. I would have to go for Reverend D-Von. I know he's not doing much and is killing Batista but I really like him. So what are yours?

I really liked Sid during his WCW title reign from January to March 2000 and his feud with NWO 2000 and Jeff Jarrett. I always marked out on Nitros in those days when I heard "Theme from the Skyscrapers" play and Sid walk out and cut another one of incoherent promos. The saddest fact is instead of watching Raw one night in Febuary 2000 I watched the Nitro to see the Sid Vs Tank Abbott match(I was really afraid Tank Abbott was going to win the title). Hell I even ordered Superbrawl 2000 to see Sid Vs Jeff Jarrett Vs Scott Hall(Although considering the participants the match was decent). My favorite wrestler that I'm embarrased to tell people about currently is Scotty 2 Hotty although mostly cause he grew up about 15 minutes away from me, although he was a decent wrestler back in 2000.

I can understand being embarrased about Sid but what's wrong with Scotty 2 Hotty. Oh well, just personal opinion I guess.

I don't know but whenever they make one of the billions if you could fire 10 wrestlers in the WWE, who would you fire? threads Scotty is always on the list who Smarks would fire. He's not that bad of a worker but I guess it's his gimmick*shrugs*

Triple H is still my other favorite. I guess he is my guilty pleasure. I know that will infuriate this board, but, hey, what can I say. Just because he has been lackluster for the better part of this year, doesn't mean I can forget 2000-01.

I really like D-Von too. he's the only guy i could ever imagine as being successful in his current character, but they should have gone down a more 'Samuel L Jackson from pulp fiction' road if they wanted him to look credible.

 

And, i like big show. I just, really like him.

HHH is among my favorite wrestlers, but everybody seems to hate him. Sure, I don't exactly like his ring work, but his presence is just...WAZAA~!~ As cliche (and stupid) as it sounds, HHH has this INTENSITY~!~ to him that makes me want to see what he'll do next.

 

Plus, he's the only wrestler I have multiple figures and t-shirts of (4 figures, 2 shirts).

Why not make him mysteriously get an exact replica of Mine in his locker and become George"The Animal" Steele Jr, come on if a grown man with tons of piercings eating turnbuckles can't draw money I don't know what can.

Chyna. I'm usually not embarrassed, but it felt kinda weird being the only one in my section to stand and cheer when she came out at a Smackdown last year. lol

Val Venis. I don't care much for his gimmicks, but his signature moves (Fisherman Suplex, Knee drop, Grounded Octopus Stretch, Kobashi Running Knee Lifts, Blue Thunder Driver) always cause me to mark out.

Hulk Hogan.He may not be a Benoit,but he entertains me.I always mark out when he hulks up and drops the leg.I'll always be a Hogan fan,no matter what other people say.

Hulk Hogan. But I'm not embarrassed. I'm actually more embarrassed that I'm in my late 20's and still watch wrestling than I am about liking one particular wrestler.

I take you are talking about Dustin Rhodes,well I agree with you.I wasn't that big of a fan of Goldust,Seven or when he was Dustin Runnels but I was a big fan of the Natural Dustin Rhodes!!!

I used to really like the Hardyz (and no, I'm not a female) and occasionally still do, but the Wacky Zany Raver Facepaint Crazy Fun Hour stuff killed it for me, as did the bumps slowly adding up.

 

My grandmother used to watch wrestling back before some show she likes better was on. I never understood it, but her favorite wrestler is the Big Bossman.

Another one of my favorite wrestlers I'm embarrassed to tell people about is Kamala, I don't know but I believe he has the best facial expressions in wrestling tied with William Regal(Although Kamala sucks as a wrestler I'll admit)

I really can't help but get behind the Big Show, although he isn't helping his few fans. Of course I'm still huge on SCSA, and that doesn't always go too well with anyone who knows about his incident at home and the way he walked out on the WWE. I don't care, though.
