Guest chirs3 Posted August 5, 2002 Report Posted August 5, 2002 I'd recommend: SSX Tricky - An absolute blast to play. Only real problem is track selection... I think there's only 9 or 10... Jak & Daxter - Too short, but also very very fun. Silent Hill 2 - Goes well with the plot analysis at GameFaqs, because much of it will go over your head. Still, incredibly good, inceredibly scary...

I LOVE the Unreal Tournament, but from what I can tell it's one of those games that some people love and others hate. I've been playing GTA3 for the last 6 months. It really is THAT great. I also have James Bond: Agent Under Fire, which is ok I guess. It's not worth $50, but if you can find it cheap I would pick it up.

I waited in there and found the shotgun, then went out and got the Alastr sword... man, I wreaked HAVOC on those damn puppets! yeah, Devil May Cry and Gran Turismo 3 are my two main games right now

Guest J*ingus Posted August 7, 2002 Report Posted August 7, 2002 Silent Hill 2 is similar to Resident Evil, only with less action and a lot more puzzles. Devil May Cry is a unique game, it's probably closer to a 3-D Castlevania than anything else.

Guest chirs3 Posted August 7, 2002 Report Posted August 7, 2002 "Devil May Cry" is Resident Evil on steroids with swords. Much faster paced, and possibly one of the most funnestest games ever. Definitely worth renting, but it's too short (IMO) to own. "Silent Hill 2" is much more story-oriented. The first is not a prerequisite, and at first I couldn't draw any parrallels (other than the town) between the two. There's a lot more to this game than what's on the surface. It is not, however, a very good action game. Excellent suspense/puzzles/story game, but not a good action game.

I like Bam and all, but Arto is just so much better, and I don't see Bam with a Thrasher "Skater of the Year." Shit, just replace everyone else with the Flip team. Appleyard, Boulala, Chalmers, Salabanzi, Rowley, Glifberg, Penny and Saari would sell the game alone. Whoo! But it's probably gonna be the same guys...yay. also, they need to put in FDR skatepark.
