Guest chirs3 Report post Posted August 5, 2002 I'd recommend: SSX Tricky - An absolute blast to play. Only real problem is track selection... I think there's only 9 or 10... Jak & Daxter - Too short, but also very very fun. Silent Hill 2 - Goes well with the plot analysis at GameFaqs, because much of it will go over your head. Still, incredibly good, inceredibly scary... Guest Retro Rob Report post Posted August 5, 2002 Jak & Daxter was short, but I enjoyed it for a few weeks. I LOVE the Unreal Tournament, but from what I can tell it's one of those games that some people love and others hate. I've been playing GTA3 for the last 6 months. It really is THAT great. Guest chirs3 Report post Posted August 7, 2002 "Devil May Cry" is Resident Evil on steroids with swords. Much faster paced, and possibly one of the most funnestest games ever. Definitely worth renting, but it's too short (IMO) to own. "Silent Hill 2" is much more story-oriented. The first is not a prerequisite, and at first I couldn't draw any parrallels (other than the town) between the two. There's a lot more to this game than what's on the surface. Guest What? Report post Posted August 8, 2002 Who's gonna be in THPS 4? Please tell me they're replacing Bam with Arto. I like Bam and all, but Arto is just so much better, and I don't see Bam with a Thrasher "Skater of the Year." Shit, just replace everyone else with the Flip team. Appleyard, Boulala, Chalmers, Salabanzi, Rowley, Glifberg, Penny and Saari would sell the game alone. Whoo! But it's probably gonna be the same guys...yay. also, they need to put in FDR skatepark.
