Biggest Dissapointments

Yeah, we all talk about the match of the years, wrestlers who were great, and things that made us happy, but what we don't really focus on are the events which truly dissapointed the most loyal wrestling fans. Lately, there have been more dissapointments then pleasures, and that's something that a Vince McMahon isn't going to like. Here are my big ones from 1997 and on.

 

1997- Bret Hart gets screwed out of the WWF Title on live television

1998- Hogan brings Ultimate Warrior back to WCW just so Warrior returns the job.

1999- Vince McMahon revealed as the higher power, simply to further Austin/McMahon.

2000- Rikishi is revealed as Austin's vehicular assailant, because "he did it, for da Rock"

2001- Stephanie and Shane (Instead of Bischoff and Heyman) run WCW/ECW and the Invasion storyline fails.

2002- (So Far) Steve Austin and WWE part ways on bad terms, Austin leaves pro-wrestling and is accused of Spousal Abuse.

 

Some other really dissapointing things that happened were as follows:

-nWo brought back to the WWF (Fuck nostalgia)

-Chris Jericho buried in Triple H feud

-Triple H revealed as the obvious attacker of HBK

-Brock Lesnar is made up to be the WWE God

-Mikey goes to WCW and jobbs to Van Hammer, Disco, and a dozen or so other jobbers...All this after having a 15 minute match of the night debut against Kidman at Uncensored 99

 

-ECW going out of business

 

-Austin not wrestling on Survivor Series 99...I was there...no one in my section went home happy

 

-The word "UNDISPUTED"...just call it the fuckin heavyweight title

 

-ppvs going up $5 even though the ratings are in the pooper

The biggest disapointment for me is still happening.

 

It is the constant misuse of RVD by WWE.

 

I swear...this is a reason that attendance and buyrates and ratings are down.

 

What is the point of caring about a product...when the guy you cheer for is never moved up the card?

 

If I could ask Vince one question at this moment...that would be it.
