From his latest RAW rant:

I mean, what was the point of him going around and questioning everyone when he knew that he was the one who did it all along? What’s the lesson here – he’s so smart that he even fooled himself with that master plan? That he put his best friend through a car window in hopes that Shawn would realize that he needs to manage HHH, so that HHH can protect him? I DON’T GET IT.

Don't get me wrong. I hated the segments as much as anyone, but only because they were boring. There IS a reason why HHH was questioning other wrestlers, though. It was to draw attention away from himself and put it onto other "suspects." It doesn't matter if HE knows that he did it. I mean, really. Is it that hard to grasp? Or does Mr. Keith not have an imagination? I can't believe they let this guy publish books when he can't even grasp a simple concept such as this.

Right now, I'm embarassed to be a Canadian alongside this dullard.

I agree totally...and I enjoy the word "dullard"

Keith has this Im "smart"-er than EVERYONE attitude that makes him seem just so...smarmy.

Another factor is Scott Keith plays favorites and HATES HHH! He is the original HHHater stemming back from his April 2001 essay titled "Smarks vs The Glass Ceiling". Don't get me wrong, I read the man's rants from time to time because he is humorous (most of the time that is). But I do not take his rants as pro wrestling gospel. When reading Keith, you do have to realize he plays favorites heavily(which is something I am afraid will hurt his upcoming book in the long run) and hates passionately. Take Keith rants with a boulder of salt and you'll enjoy life a whole lot more.

Today's rant he just didn't seem to think much. Not only that part, but also he wondered how Triple H couldve attacked Shawn while he was in the ring. He could have easily done it then gone to the ring after.

yeah, but the whole thing about this angle (like he said) was that hhh was the only one who it COULDN'T have been, giving some sense of intrigue to the whole thing. Even if we all knew he'd admit to putting show up to it later. He was the prime suspect until it happened, when it couldn't have been him. What's the point of writing him out of it and giving a whole new list of suspects if it was going to be him anyway? I'd make a comment that this wasn't the original idea and that he had it changed, but that would just be old now wouldn't it?

I just don't know why they had to this dumbass "mystery" angle in the first place.

It never works, plus that main even promo almost put me to sleep.

I don't understand the footage. In the first shot, there was clearly no one there and in the second shot HHH magically appeared.

But what's the point of drawing attention away from yourself if you're just going to admit to doing it 2 hours later (ignoring the "compelling" TV excuse)? I can see if they dragged it out for a few weeks, but doing like they did was just a waste of time.

I think it would've been more interesting if HHH had just come out and said it at the top of the show, giving his "abusive husband" excuse, then giving Shawn until the end of the show to choose whether or not he wants to be his manager (although we know he'd say no anyway), and in the end, Shawn comes out and either makes the challenge for the match, challenges HHH to the match at SummerSlam, or challenges HHH to the match and gets attacked. I dunno, just an idea.

In storyline terms, I highly doubt HHH was going to admit it at all. In storyline terms, he only admitted it because they had him on video..

But I get what you're saying, and frankly they were going to do it regardless and I'm glad they did it in ONE night rather than a span of 7 million months.

The angle sucked, admit it. Keith's rant was very entrtaining, as they always are when the shows suck ass.

This has nothing to do with the angle. It has everything to do with using your imagination.

Scott Keith sucks. He hasn't been giving out fair match ratings since WrestleMania X-7.

It has everything to with the angle. It was long, boring, pointless and it seemed abivious to me that it was going to be Triple H all along. People didn't need to use there imaginations because the way Triple H was plasted all over Raw this week it was so obivious it was going to be him to set up a match with his broken down buddy. I hope karma manages to catch up with them during the match. As for Scott Keith I will admit the man is too cynical for his own good and does play favourites (but I agree with most of them) but he is still an entertaining writer. He just needs to lighting up and lose the "smarter-than-you" attitude that he has.

Scott Keith rules. Nuff said.

Yup.

Sure he's a little harsh but he gives praise when praise is due. The whole HHH thing was a farce. Why waste TV time on him questioning people when he admits it was him (on ridiculously contrived evidence) on the same night? Not shocking, just stupid.

Scott Keith doesn't like anyone who's name is not:

-Chris Benoit

-Dynamite Kid

-Owen Hart

-Steve Austin

-Ricky Steamboat

-Eddie Guerrero

Plus, he takes wrestling too seriously. He's an elitist. It's ok to be an elitist about something, but don't be elitist about something so dorky as pro wrestling.

Ah yes... god forbid he actually have FAVORITES, ya know. Them pesky opinions, i tell ya, they be the end of the world...

Yea people who have favourites wrestlers that they are biased towards suck- I mean I hate people who when their favourite loses immeadatly complain of a fast count or something. I mean good lord get a life

Guest saturnmark4life

What the hell's wrong with having favourites? I can't believe what i'm reading here. If you guys don't like him, why the fuck do you care what match ratings he gives? His rants are opinion based, that's the idea. The only time i've ever seen him play favourites in any serious way is when he's joking, like in the rvd/benoit match.

In all seriousness, there's nothing wrong with having your favorites. Nothing at all.

It's just that a guy comes across as a tool when he says, "If you can't do the finisher right, don't do it at all." That's an actual quote from one of his rants. When a guy tries to make himself to be an insider by insinuating that he knows better than the ACTUAL WRESTLER on how to do a move, that's a joke.

I've seen many people say that in regards to wrestler's finishers. Honestly, if you constantly blow what's supposed to be a trademark move, then you should probably either work harder at it or drop it altogether. Personally, I don't see how Keith is wrong there. Hell, most of the board has dissed finishers that were either botched(like Taker's Last Ride a few times) or just don't work at all(Walls of Jericho, Breakdown).

Yep,I've seen a picture of him. He's pretty big too,he looks like the guy who plays Cameron Diaz's brother in "There's Something About Mary". (and I mean that in terms of size and looks,I'm not saying he looks handicapped and I mean no offense to handicapped people).

And that brings me to something else.Sometimes SK will go on about how Nash or 'Taker are out of shape, and old, and lazy etc. But the thing is they're both in better shape in their 40's then SK is in his late 20's.

I wonder if he reads this stuff........
