1992 ROYAL RUMBLE

1) WWF Intercontinental champion Bret Hart defeated Roddy Piper (16:48).  **** By having Bret get the win over Piper, the Hitman gets a rub from the Scotsman. It establishes Bret as someone who can defeat just about anyone.

2) Ted DiBiase & Repo Man defeated Virgil & Tito Santana (8:05).  ¾*

3) The New Foundation defeated The Orient Express (11:22).  ***

4) WWF tag team champions The Legion of Doom fought The Natural Disasters to a double disqualification (5:37).  *½  

5) Ric Flair won the 30-man Royal Rumble match and the WWF title at (63:29). ***** Everything is the same for this match, except for some of the participants. Order of elimination: Marty Jannetty, Rick Martel, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Hercules, Brian Knobbs, The Warlord, Repo Man, Virgil, Jerry Sags, The Ultimate Warrior, The Berzerker, Haku, Davey Boy Smith, Tito Santana, Blake Beverly, Sgt. Slaughter, The Mountie, Beau Beverly, Irwin R. Schyster, The Barbarian, Papa Shango, Ted DiBiase, Skinner, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Sid Justice, Jake Roberts, Randy Savage & Hulk Hogan.

 

WRESTLEMANIA VIII

1) WWF tag team champions The Legion of Doom defeated The Natural Disasters in a Street Fight (10:43) when Hawk pinned Typhoon. **

2) Davey Boy Smith defeated The Mountie (5:21) after a powerslam. ¾ *

3) The Nasty Boys defeated The New Foundation (8:36) when Jerry Sags pinned Jim Neidhart. *

4) Virgil defeated Repo Man (5:57). ½ *

5) Bret Hart defeated WWF Intercontinental champion Shawn Michaels (21:43) in the 1st ever Ladder match to regain the title. **** Michaels scored an upset victory 2 weeks after the Royal Rumble. After Bret was granted a rematch, he challenged the champion to a Ladder match.

6) Ted DiBiase & Irwin R. Schyster defeated Hacksaw Jim Duggan & Sgt. Slaughter (9:43) after DiBiase pinned Duggan. * ½

7) Tatanka defeated Rick Martel (5:20). *

8) The Undertaker defeated Papa Shango (7:43) after a Tombstone. * The Undertaker turned baby face in late-February. Just after he turned, Papa Shango came out an challenged 'Taker to a match.

9) The Ultimate Warrior defeated Sid Justice by disqualification (10:51). * ¼

10) Randy Savage defeated Jake Roberts in a No-Holds-Barred match (14:30). ***  

11) WWF Champion Ric Flair defeated Hulk Hogan (35:19) after a surprise rollup. After the match, Sid Justice came down to ringside and helped Flair attack Hogan and "break" his leg. The Warrior eventually came down to match the save. ****
