Guest Sebastian_the_Bastard Report post Posted August 7, 2002 This band freaking rocks... anyone agree? -Sebastian
Guest Incandenza Report post Posted August 7, 2002 I've never even heard of them, but I can tell by that name they're an emo band.
Guest Cerebus The Aardvark Report post Posted August 7, 2002 Incandenza rules. Yes, they are an emo band, and they are not good. I've heard about half a dozen songs, including an uninspired cover of "Say It Ain't So". Boring junk. Ah well. If Sebastian likes them, more power to him. Guest Ram Report post Posted August 7, 2002 I've heard some of their stuff a while back. Justice Prevails was a good song, but nothing else really caught my ear. Say It Ain't So was good when I heard it the first time, but was dim when I found out it was a cover of a Weezer song, which kicks ass. FSF died maybe a year or two ago though. Chris something, the lead singer, left the band and started on his own in Dashboard Confessionals - which is apparently already put onto various video plays on MTV, MTV2 most notibly, and MuchMusic. He's alot better by himself, but I can't listen to him in large portions.
Guest sk8420kid Report post Posted August 7, 2002 Actually FSF is still together. Dashboard did leave the band, but they got a new singer i think, and I heard their new stuff is pretty good.
Guest Sebastian_the_Bastard Report post Posted August 7, 2002 I've heard five Further Seems Forever songs and I think they're great, though they are a lot better with Chris Carrabba. I've heard from a friend that they really suck live with their new lead singer though. I love you all! Yes you!, Sebastian the Bastard
Guest JaKyL25 Report post Posted August 9, 2002 I absolutely LOVE their CD "The Moon is Down", which is the only one that they were able to get out with Chris still in the band I think. Mostly because I'm a Chris Carabba mark, but I'm starting to think I like this album better than most of the Dashboard stuff. "Snowbirds & Townies", "Pictures of Shorelines", "A New Desert Life", and ESPECIALLY "New Year's Project" are my favorite songs on the album. Any feedback from anyone else with the album?
