Has anyone seen this? It's 3 seperate stories and it's not a bad horror movie at all. That last story with the doll kicks ass.

I have it on DVD (big suprise), and yeah, for a made for TV movie, it's great.

 

I'm a Karen Black mark, and she stars in all 3 stories, so that makes it even cool. I agree, the last story about the Zuni Fetish doll friggin' rocks.

 

There is even a sequel, and the doll is back in that one. It even has the same director!

Yeah, I can't find the sequel ANYWHERE. Did they release it on DVD/VHS?

 

Chucky sucks compared to the Zuni Fetish doll.

That's the only story in the movie I've seen...friend said the other 2 were nothing special

I can't really explain it. It has a spear and really sharp teeth.

 

I think the first story is pretty cool too. Nice twist at the end of all the stories.

The sequal was a made-for-TV movie on USA Network. It was probably reeased on video.

When they Zuni Fetish, they don't mean like sexual fetish, they mean (oh man, he's whipping out the dictionary!):

 

An object that is believed to have magical or spiritual powers, especially such an object associated with animistic or shamanistic religious practices.

 

Or, an even better definition is:

 

A material object supposed among certain African tribes to represent in such a way, or to be so connected with, a supernatural being, that the possession of it gives to the possessor power to control that being.

 

The funny thing is, the definition of fetish as it relates to sexual fetishes is like, not even the "primary" definition in the dictionary... pretty weird since that's the definition most people know it, eh?

Yea, I actually haven't seen it either since none of the video stores 'round these parts seem to have it on VHS, and there's no way I'm spending more than $15 on a DVD of a movie I've never seen, no matter how compelling the Zuni Fetish doll is from the still photos...
