Which of the wrestlers that seemed to be stuck on WCWSN all the time were your favorites? I liked...

Shark Boy

Road Block (that rope-assisted moonsault from the apron was wicked)

Disco Inferno (back when he struggled with the leg hold)

Lord Steven Regal (during the 1996 title reign of 10-minute time limit draws)

Chris Adams

Blitzkrieg

Disorderly Conduct/The Texas Hangmen

Hacksaw Jim Duggan (c'mon, I was a mark, and I like the Washington Post March)

Elix Skipper (when he was not ready for Prime Time)

who did you guys like?

Jean Pierre Laflant(or however you spell that)was usually a star of WCW Saturday Night for a while,of course he is now Triple H and his promos are longer than his matches, but that's another story.

Thanks.

I don't know if this qualifies, but I was a Sgt. Craig Pittman mark. I was pumped for his feud with Viper.

I think you mean Cobra, but it's all good. It was weird that they had appv match and then 1,200 rematches on Saturday Night.

Plus, Johnny Attitude had a brush with greatness when he was squashed by Goldberg on Nitro after mocking his entrance. But anyone that goes by Mr. Attitude is a champ in my book.

But, Hole in One was my favorite. He would have f'n putting challenges with his opponents. He once gave a club to Barry Horowitz and told him if he sank the putt, he'd win the match. Pissed off, Big Barry replied,

"But I'm left-handed"

"YOU SHOULDA GOT YOUR OWN CLUBS YOU IDIOT!!!"

Bwahahaha!!!

Yeah, I meant Cobra, but call him whatever you want, Viper, Cobra, fake Sting, his feud with Pittman was classic.

Actually I heard somewhere Roadblock was supposed to debut in late 96/early 97 on a Nitro and fight Randy Savage in a 10-15 minute match and get a push but for some reason it never happened <_< . Although I do remember he fought on a Nitro once he got squashed by Lex Lugar and don't forget Roadblock beat Lash LeRoux in young Lash's second or third match in WCW.

I love Barry Darsow's puttng challenges where he was like, " I missed my six o'clock tee off to come here and wrestle tonight." I would kill to find footage of that stuff. Oh the memories. :(

Road Block makes a cameo in the 1997 Tommy Lee Jones/Wesley Snipes film U. S. Marshals. Jones' character (along with several other US Marshals) stakes out his house and ultimately breaks down the door. RB valiantly fights them off but is ultimately subdued and handcuffed. Oh, and he's watching Nitro on TV at the time too.

I marked out when I saw him because I watched WCWSN every week at that time and he was one of my favorites.

I'm not sure if this was on Saturday Night or not, but does anyone remember "Dusty Rhodes Moo Match of the Week"? Just Horrible.
