Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted February 22, 2002 I'd rather see Undertaker vs Nash, than Undertaker vs Flair. It's a simple case of keeping the slugs in one group, and the talented wrestlers in another group. It's one lousy match, and if two good workers are free to work together that makes the ppv alot more enjoyale. If Nash is fighting Austin, and Undertaker is fighting Chris Benoit. That's two great workers that will probably get stuck in at best 2 1/2 star matchups.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted February 22, 2002 Look at the Mania card (or at least the probable one) Every match has a questionable participant Jericho vs. HHH (rust, size, inability to run) Rock vs. Hogan (rust, lack of talent, Rock's overselling) Austin vs. Hall (rust, water weight, alcohol) Flair vs. UT (Taker sucks, Flair is 53) Angle vs. Kane (Actually Kane is decent againt smaller guys) APA vs. Chuck a Billy (take your pick) And then figure: Regal vs. anyone (clash of styles) Nash vs. antone (Shitty) No...things do not look good. Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted February 22, 2002 I agree that the slugs should be confined to one match. That's why I was really hoping for an NWO vs Kane, UT, Big Show 6-man. This would have been the perfect opportunity for me to take a piss after three hours of wrestling and smoke a few on the patio. Instead, they've decided to disperse the Crap throughout the entire show where I predict a lacklustre Mania at the very best. I still say they missed the boat in having an Angle-Flair matchup. That could have been a Mania classic comparable to Savage-Steamboat, or Owen-Bret. Instead Flair might carry UT to a ** match. Hey, if Nash doesn't get booked to wrestle, I might consider watching the show. At this point, I don't really care if I miss it.

Just a thought, Kevin Nash is rumoured to be in reserve in case Hall doesn't make it to WM - if he does, I have a horrible image of Nash in the ring at WM, calling out anyone from the back...and who doesn't have a match? B** S***.
